What's the size of your card? Amazon is doing a sale for the 16GB one (http://www.amazon.com/16GB-PlayStation-Vita-Memory-Card/dp/B006JKASAC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1404224668&sr=8-1&keywords=memory+card+vita) as well as for the 32GB (http://www.amazon.com/32GB-PlayStation-Vita-Memory-Card/dp/B006JKASCK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1404224668&sr=8-3&keywords=memory+card+vita). I would jump on the 16 one instantly, but won't buy anything above that atm. It seems it's a test to see the price impact; I think prices will get lower at the end of the year.

Back to Child Of Light; so you played and found it...decent? Feedback please!

I'm a few hours into the Vita version.

Graphics and music are awesome, easily one of the best Vita games in those areas.

Gameplay is a turn-based RPG with a few standard puzzles, very simple, not challenging at all. That may change later, obviously, though I doubt it, it looks like one of those games designed for the experience, not the challenge.

Already have a 32gb which is so full I've had to delete stuff just to get updates to work as for child of light I was quite impressed with it honestly.

But I've been amassing so many games on my PC I'd be lying if I said I spent more than a few hours on it to give an idea I've only had a PC capable of decent gaming for a few months and have already about 40 new games on it.

From what I did play it seemed quite good and I'm not really a huge fan of "indy type" games or platformers but I liked it better than I honestly expected to ,I'd say I liked the leveling up and the final fantasy type combat but flying around was quite fun as well.

Not really challenging and the rhyming I found a little schoolyard, but I think it's a 'nearly there' game if that makes sense. I think it would feel a lot better on Vita as it's a good game to pick up and chill out to rather than on console or PC where you have to be pre-invested and set up. It has light RPG mechanics in the combat and stat building but it never really felt like a true RPG to me.

That sounds nasty, think I may give the idea a miss then, thanks for the warning.

Yeah it doesn't sound great although it's possible a firmware update has changed that since I read about it, I guess importing a 64gb card is still the best option overall.

I believe the people who lost games/space were silly enough to delete the shortcuts manually without the right card attached so it would be easily avoided

I think you should play on expert mode as I've read the standard difficulty is really easy, but on hard mode battles can get tough. But yeah puzzles will not be brain scratchers at all.

So I assume you went overboard with the Steam sale :p Maybe you should try Knytt Underground; I think that will totally change your mind on indie platformer/puzzle games.

Hey, I have a stupid question about Freedom Wars. I know it's coming from a Japanese studio so I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be over sexualised like many of the games coming from Japan. I notice a lot of Japanese vita games are over sexualised and that's not my thing.

Here's some gameplay of the first Ratchet & Clank game in the trilogy:

The graphics seem to be at least close to native res and the framerate is rock solid, so there's really not much to complain about!

It's basically a futuristic Monster Hunter. Skimpy outfits I guess are limited to character creation, so you can choose whatever floats yours boat. There aren't any loli fanservice or fling between characters. So for me, yah it doesn't have anything to be concerned about.

Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear there won't be much of that stuff in the game. I've seen so much weird stuff coming from japan. There was some card battler game I saw where all of the cards were women and I think you could level them up by stroking your vita. I also saw a picture of a lady with her melons tied in what look like rope. Then I've seen quite a few games with women barely in any clothing. It just personally detracts from enjoyment in a game. Anyways, I'm a sucker for those hunting style games so I can't wait to try it. Would be cool if it brought some new things to the table.

I completely understand you. Vita has become THE go-to device for Weeaboos to satisfy their cravings. It's only natural for people to feel concerned about that. Frankly this holiday season will be the decisive period for Vita. Let's see how Sony play their cards.

What's wrong with their memory cards? They are quite unique. The packaging alone makes the 200% price mark up worth it.

The more I see videos for it, the more it looks...bland? Like the gameplay isn't as intense as the name would have implied..

EDIT: I just finished Stick It To The Man! and you should all play this game if you haven't! I never literally laughed out loud to a game before, and it's so full of charm and genuine love.

I got Dragons Crown on sale and I must admit I have had quite a blast with it. I also love the art style of the game, it looks absolutely stunning. Some of the characters creep me out though. Also, this game has made me really appreciate the d pad on the vita. I used to have an xbox 360 and the d pad on that was atrocious.

My only minimal gripe with the PS Vita is the fact that a lot of the games released for it tend to be Anime-style. Now, don't get me wrong...I love Anime...but I also like to see variety in the art style of games. I love my PS Vita a lot and think it's the finest gadget purchase that I've made in a long time. I have Persona 4, Ys: Memories of Celceta and Gravity Rush on it. They occupy a LOT of my time and I'm enjoying them so much that I don't care if I soil my pants while killing hour after hour of my life (j/k), but I need that one good game that isn't Anime-style. I haven't found it yet. And of course, I'd prefer if the games weren't Uncharted: Golden Abyss or Tearaway.

Dragons Crown has a nice art style, but that may be anime. If it is anime it's quite nice looking. The thing I dislike about the vita is all the weird sexual stuff. I've already ranted about that above so I shall spare you from reading a wall of text.
