So yeah finally reached lvl 61 on Ps Vita version of BL2 even tho game kinda made me mad couple times... Lol http://youtu.be/fXYD7gBUtjg Taking down last boss Warrior in 3 seconds
Flash sale: Touikiden is $20, FF X & X2 is $30, Conception is $30, soul sacrifice is under $7. (It's been free on plus though a few times) Rainbow moon and it's in-game purchases are on sale.
Yes, free with plus but I think I own the ps3 version and it's cross buy. Controls take a little getting used to if you tried it first on a dual shock but this version is very playable.
I did, IMO it's nearly identical to the console versions, some expected graphical downgrade and that's it.
It compares pretty favourably to the PS3 versions but they rebuilt the ships as 3D objects for the PS4 version and have some nice particle and light effects. AFAIK the PSVita and PS4 versions are crossbuy but the PS3 is not, due to this being the Ultimate Edition including both games and a bit of other fluff. The multiplayer is crossplay, but again only between the Vita and PS4.
So I bought Watch Dogs for PS4 which is arguably the most hyped game in the last few years. It's a very good game and I like it a lot (though it's mostly a GTA clone with a couple of new mechanics, but that's another debate), but funny thing is, while playing it comes to my mind frequently why I'm not playing the almost-PSP-graphics-but-oh-so-f***ing-fun Ys Memories of Celceta in the tiny Vita screen instead. Point is, we're so worried nowadays about resolutions and frame rates that sometimes the most important thing in gaming (gameplay) is constantly neglected.
Ubisoft tend to go for laundry list gameplay rather than progressive. Someone, somewhere at Ubi decided to make a plug and play game designers recipe book with a modular set of game activities.
The thing is that gameplay is a more subjective subject than graphics. I'm not a fan of JRPGs, but find the car chaces in Watchdogs a lot of fun, plus watching the AI become completely retarded once you hack a traffic light is funny as hell, so I'd chose watchdogs over Ys gameplay wise as well. I mean, how stupid does one have to be to accelerate into this massive pile of cars?!
I'm more interested in picking up Wolfenstein. Everybody seems to like Wolf more than expected, and vice versa for Watch Dogs. Probably I'll wait for them both to get cheap, though.
I'm so happy peolpe are blaming Sony now and call it Retarded in the main E3 blog post for not supporting Vita: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/06/09/round-up-playstation-e3-2014-press-conference/ i'm not alone
Honestly after Project DIVA F 2nd, I am done with this system for good. This year's E3 shows Sony is not going to try it anymore
