That xcom doesn't seem correct, it looks like they accidentally clicked ps vita instead of pc. The pc complete edition is supposed to come out soon and even the box art says pc. I wouldn't get too excited...

Thanks for the video! Though I have to admit whoever was playing seemed lost. I wonder if they ever played before

I got in on the God of War Collection Vita glitch. :) I started GoW1 last night. Plays quite nice!

Meanwhile in Europe there is no trial for the game (so the glitch doesn't work) and with the Vita release they've increased the price of the collection by 5€ / 4£, because obviously it is a privilege to be able to play a game on multiple different devices. Oh wait, what's that? Mobile and PC games are compatible with multiple devices at no extra cost? Ridiculous!

9 years later and God of War is still a spectacular game.

I platinumed God of War 1 on the PS3 a few years ago. Great game. Haven't gotten around to playing 2, yet.

In the US, at least, it's cross-buy. If you have the PSN version on PS3, you get them on Vita too. the glitch was that the PS3 full game trials counted as owning the games. LOL. Anyway, they can be played on multiple devices for one price, but this doesn't apply to the disc versions for obvious reasons (you can sell the discs).

It's cross buy in Europe as well (unless you bought the games separately), the thing is that with the addition of the Vita version they've raised the price of the game by 5€. I was going to buy it for the original price of 20€, but not anymore.

I still can't decide on getting the bundle for three reasons:
    1. 8 gb card is next to useless for me
    2. I want a physical copy of bl2
    3. Rumored price drop for vita at E3

I had no use for the 8gb card either so the manager at gamestop pulled it out of the box and gave me like $11 off. Small but nice, after the vita trade in it came to like $70 which wasn't bad at all

If you can wait for E3, wait, but you can sell the 8 GB card and the code for BL2 on ebay or amazon or wherever and then buy the physical copy. At least I think BL2 is a code. Is it?

Don't need pictures myself, but do post your impressions of your new purchase. Congratulations, and I agree that Amazon generally does come through.

Yeah, Amazon was awesome. I originally asked about why sometimes pre order items arrive the same day and why sometimes they arrive a week later. Apparently they have release date shipping available sometimes when they know it will ship on time. I however never seen the option. They explained the whole thing to me and then upgraded me to 1 day shipping for free. They are so awesome.

Edit: I reorganized my messy post I wrote when I was so tired that my eyes were twitching. Sorry if anyone suffered through it!

I've been playing Borderlands 2 and I figured I would post some impressions of the game. I'm not going to go into detail about the game itself because I'm sure most have played it. I've played it on Xbox and PC, but I haven't played the xbox version in a while. Well some differences and issues in the vita version...

    - Lots of low resolution textures
    - Some textures take a while to fully load
    - Decent amount of aliasing
    - Less detail in the background
    - Frame rate is normally around 25-30, however in places like Sanctuary it seems to drop to the low 20's
    - Occasional stuttering
    - Dead enemies now explode in blood
    - Effects have been toned down
    - 20-30 second loading screens
    - I did experience a crash
    - Only 2 player coop
    - Customizable controls that work very well
    - Gyroscope aiming! Very Awesome!

Overall, the performance is kind of a mess. It is playable, just not great. However, how often do you get an open world shooter with random loot, good story, great characters, and a great art style on your PS Vita? I personally find it amazing they managed to fit the whole game onto a mobile device. I think only hardcore fans should dive in and make the purchase. The rest of you may want to wait to see if there is a demo or try it on a console/PC.

    * Just a side note, ps3 shift codes work with the vita version, even ones before the vita version came out. I just redeemed a total of 119 keys. Here is the site I used to look up the codes...

Final nail to the coffin for vita. Officially dead in the west.

That’s a nice price point, so hopefully more people will finally see what we loyal Vita owners have been raving about. With more users, hopefully we’ll get some decent bigger games. I seriously do love the indies and even the ports of older games. I honestly do, so please keep publishing them. But…
We were also promised console-quality games for Vita. Killzone and Uncharted have been the only decent “console-quality” games (in my opinion) so far. Uncharted wasn’t even that good. We need a few good AAA games that are actually developed by the proper studios, and not farmed out to smaller devs who can’t quite capture what makes a series work on consoles.

Thanks for your support. As for the big games:
The economics simply don’t work with the traditional process. We have to do something different to get AAA games on Vita. We accomplished it to a certain degree by making PS4 games work on Vita via remote play. PS Now will be another way, streaming PS3 games on Vita. I can’t wait until PS Now is out on Vita – I hope you’ll try out the experience and let me know what you think.

Wow... I am honestly never, NEVER going to buy Next sony handheld ever again. I guess E3 sony plan leaks was true, no notice for vita, focusing on PS4 for whole show...
Thank you Sony! At least PS4 and 3DS keep me busy... Sigh

    AAA Vita games

The Need For Speed Most Wanted is the same as the big console versions and it's pretty darn good. Assassin's Creed Liberation is pretty good and certainly AAA quality. The super-duper PC HD upgrade really didn't impress me at all. Dynasty Warriors 8 is also the full on big game same as on PS3 which happens to be crossplay as well. Same with Wipeout 2048.

The point is there ARE top quality games for Vita. And lots of fairly decent little ones. I am currently hooked on Dead Nation and the Vita version of Luftrausers which is more fun than the PC version.
