Still, seems unlikely that a large amount of Vita owners will always be offline, and you'd be on the leaderboard if you even play once when you happen to be online. That would be incredibly sad. It's a great game, it got great reviews. If games like this don't sell well, I just don't know what to say.
Vita games doesn't sell that much especially when there is console port. It's a great port, looks good and plays well. I don't think rayman legend on console sold that well anyways. I think delay of the game lowered hype and sales
Vita sold about 75k last month Last year 2012 nov it sold about 220k units... It's a huge huge drop... http://abload.de/img/npdharndheldltd34mowvusi.png I wouldn't be surprised if Sony stop support device for good after 2014 seeing how much lack of games are coming in 2014
The November numbers are discouraging for sure. I hope they stick with it, because I love mine. Play it pretty much daily.
3DS numbers were low as well this November. Two big consoles kind of just launched, so that doesn't help.
... They sold 770,000 3ds units in this November... There is no excuse for next gen console launch lowering sales
Uhm yes there is? People interested in console gaming have less money to spend after buying a next-gen console?
Yeah, from reading other forums I get the impression that it's damned if you do, damned if you don't. People get upset when they get a game that is perceived as less than the console counterpart (some lego games?), but when they are the same, apparently they don't buy it because they already own it on a console. Me too. I continue to be amazed with it. Am also really happy with the variety of games so far. I assume that the PS4 tie-in does mean that the Vita will continue to be supported for a while and I think at least some games will continue to come out for it. Whether big companies will continue to make great games for it remains to be seen indeed.
Well seems like even in Japan it's really not looking too good not to mention ps vita tv bombed badly... I will buy vita silm when it comes to west buy seriously they need games like psp had GT, GTA, MGS, And MH... Those games what made psp stronger
Personally I'd rather see something new than play essentially the same game but slightly prettier each generation, though I would like a new MGS and Ace Combat...
Is Playstation Plus Helping or Hindering the PS Vita? That probably explains a bit of the low sales of the big titles. Rayman Origins was on IGC at one point too, so people may wait with Legends. Same goes for Tearaway, apparently.
Yeah I actually do agree with that. Come on... Tear away only sold 14k past 2 weeks in us.... That is seriously bad
I heard Europe was about the same not much known about Japan. I didn't like that game at all just seemed too gimmicky to me but it's really sad to see first party studio game gets burned and crashed
I didn't expect much from tearaway. Didn't even appeal to me and I'll play pretty much any genre. Tried the demo at Gamestop and it couldn't capture me. Hopefully Borderlands 2 will help capture some developers
Hopefully framerates could be at least ps3 lvl... Any less than that is pretty much annoying and unplayable
I have faith Gearbox is heavily overseeing the project. I doubt they'll allow it to be released if it isn't anything less then perfect
***aliens colonial marines*** I love Randy, but that game seriously kinda destroyed my love for gearbox. And too many god damm dlc on bl2... Just make bl3 for ps4 already!
I know this will be rude but where's the best PS VITA forum in the world? something like Touch Arcade
