Typical I don't have the space for it I'm reluctantly deleting hustle kings and some music I had for playing wipeout hopefully I can redownload it later or restore it from a backup. Edit: Installed it haven't checked it did anything but load but I was able to put Hustle Kings back on and still have about a gb free, also noticed new everybodys golf courses on the store those must have passed me by I'll have to get a PSN card and hopefully I'll have the space to pick those up.
TWD season 2 is confirmed for the Vita, releasing this year sometime/when the other versions release. The Wolf Among Us is not confirmed for the Vita.
The patch replaces the first one, so the file size of the game shouldn't increase in the end. (Obviously you need 1.2GB of free space on the memory card to download the update, but once it's installed that space should be free again.)
Yeah all sorted I actually found multiplayer a bit worse after the patch though I tried it out and got booted from the games a few times which never happened beforehand. On another note I noticed engadget has a review of the new Vita up now
Not really hard, it just has a learning curve. Once you realize how it's supposed to be played (hint: fast, aggressive, mostly melee) it becomes lots of fun. I think the Vita analogs make it easier but it could be only my mouse skills that got rusted in the last years
Wow! Glad I waited, Hotline is free and TWD season 1 is $9.79 starting tomorrow for Vita. Lost Survivor at $9 less than a month from launch hurts (got it for 11.69 as a launch plus sale) but the rest make up for it.
Added my Vita to my routers DMZ and tried out Killzone first attempt disconnected me was about to swear and just give up and reverse it but then I played probably twenty or so online matches with no problems. That's actually my first real session of the online play I was getting battered a bit but it is actually really good fun and when you do get a bit of a streak going it feels pretty good. Very fun game

I picked up two new titles this week. Lego Marvel Super Heroes is a complete dissapointment on the vita. No open world. No building anything. Not even a 'base' to explore inbetween missions. Just short burst 3-4 minute romphs where you smash you way across the level breaking everything and then break the boss at the end. Skip this one and get it on the consoles / pc if you want your proper lego game fix. The other title is Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate. Take all the gadgety batman fun of the arkham series and put it in a castlevania/metroid sidescrolling exploration perspective. Full 3d, camera moves around as you go in to air vents and crawl spaces. Plenty of exploring to do as you try to take back control of arhkam from joker, penguin and some mask guy I'm not familiar with. This game has a separate story from the concole/pc version of origins and apparently continues after those games story wise. Very much enjoying this game, highly recommended
Sine Mora is kind of terrible. It feels like I spend half the game just holding the L button to skip through the stupid story. Story in a bullet-hell shooter??? And so much of it? Also the backgrounds, while pretty, make it hard to see the bullets and ships and such. I'll probably play it more, but am glad I didn't pay for it (at least not directly).
Rainbow Moon Coming to PS Vita December 3rd GREAT little game, took nearly a 100 hours of my life away on PS3.
Soul Sacrifice and Oddworld Strangers Wrath are free for Plus subscribers in November. Get both when the update hits!
Last night I noticed for the first time just how yellow the OLED screen is. I had been playing Spelunky on PS3 the last few days, and then last night I played on Vita and wow is that thing yellow. It was off-putting at first. However after a little bit I got use to it. So I imagine I'd get use to the new LCD too, and the new model has plusses like better visibility outdoors-ish (in car, on buses, etc), thinner (maybe not a plus), lighter, better battery life, larger Start/Select. I think eventually I'll get one (assuming they come to the US).
Seems more blueish than yellowish to me. Colors are fine for me though, wish the pixel density was better.
Mines not yellow either although I've seen sites posting that the new LCD version is. Source Engadget
New 3.00 firmware update is out. It adds PS4 support, parental controls, and a couple of other smaller changes.
