Oh yeah, just remembered. An inFAMOUS game for Vita has been confirmed by an insider. Take it as a rumor for now, but it's the same guy who was right about Borderlands 2 and the 64GB memory card (in addition to a lot of other stuff- he is incredibly reliable). Also, Amazing Spider-man was announced for Vita. It's the openworld console version. It's nice to see that and Injustice (which was announced earlier in the week) hitting the Vita.
Who said something about infamous coming to the vita? I mean, I can see it happening and after googling it aparrently Nate Fox (from Sucker Punch) kind of hinted at it in an interview from early september (though it may have just been a bad choice of words), but other than that I haven't seen anything.
This is the insider, and one of the places he referred to an inFAMOUS game being made for the Vita: http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=83811165&postcount=311 He is extremely reliable. Still, just take it as a rumor.
Sony has enough cash, developers and pride to shelve a game after a trial demo or even an alpha build that wasn't up to snuff. Still, I would love a proper super hero Rpg on the go.
OMG! That... that VALUE! On a completely different note, here's a screen comparisson of the Vita 2000 to the 1000 (since the 2000 is out in Japan now): Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel What I find interesting is how the Vita 2000 seems to load Vita games faster than the 1000 in pretty much every video that I've seen of it so far.
Vita sales numbers in Japan went up from 3500 the previous week to 60000 last week, which is even more surprising considering that Pokemon X and Y were released in same week. I doubt the momentum will continue, but the upcoming Gods Eater, Gundam, and Final Fantasy bundles should help too.
I'm not sure, I think on Amazon Japan it did. Who knows what that means in terms of actual numbers though or how well it will do long term.
It's good. Hopefully those gundam and god eater 2 bundles will keep this sale going on Meanwhile in the west tho...
I need some ideas for a cheap Vita PSN game to $50 (for the 10 bucks in store credit). I'm $8 ish short after getting Lone Survivor and Dragons Crown. The big ones I already have : Muramasa Rebirth, MGS collection, Sine Mora, Guilty Gear, Silent Hill Book of Memories, Oddworld Strangers Wrath, Stardust, Unit 13, Gravity Rush (Plus freebie), sound shapes, Rayman (plus freebie) Physical copies - Uncharted, MvC 3, hot shots golf , wipeout Big titles ill likely get: Killzone Merc (debating a physical copy), Injustice (which releases after the Oct 29 deadline for the credit), and a year of Plus. I've heard mixed things on Malicious and Spelunkies demo seriously kicked my butt!
Rocketbirds and Hotline Miami are cheap and good. A bit more expensive but if you haven't already played it in other platforms The Walking Dead is amazing. Regardless of what you buy, Dragon's Crown will likely keep you occupied for a looong time. Not yet but will eventually, just not in the mood for a massive grinding RPG right now.
I'm waiting on news for Wolf Among Us and TWD season 2 to push a sale on Vitas version of Season 1 and 400 days. I got Hotline on PC for $2.50 and it is brutally hard. I wonder if the analogs would make it easier. I've heard good things on Rocketbirds.
I didn't like SW pinball on my phone, maybe the bigger screen size helps me out here. Not a big fan of the extreme bike games (now an SSX game on the other hand ...).
I find it much better on the dual sticks but it IS hard so you're gonna die quite a bit until you know each level and were all the enemies are. One of my favorite indies of the year for sure so its worth the asking price.
By the way, patch 1.0.2 is out for Killzone Mercenary. http://www.killzone.com/kz3/de_DE/blog/news/2013-10-17_kzm-update.html It supposedly fixes a bunch of connection issues, spawn killing in multiplayer and other bugs.
