Quality is always underestimated in mp maps, I still play dust and dust 2 in CS almost exclusively. Just wanted to chime in and reassure you if maps are well made, then 6 is more than enough.
The beta map never got old for me. The map design is pretty good- high ground, low ground, branching paths, hiding spots, sniping positions, etc. Supposedly, the map features in the public beta is smaller than all the other maps.
"Fergal Gara, Managing Director of Sony UK, has said that the PS Vita is about to become the handheld console it was always designed to be, re-entering the market at a lower price point and scheduled to be a true PS4 accessory" Well.. This is sad
That's a little sad. Don't plan on buying a ps4, but maybe more people will buy the vita for it. Although $200 for an accessory... I don 't know. How much is the wii u gamepad by itself?
Yup there are couple articles and people are quite worried. I don't know. I was about to get vita again when I saw killzone then I realize non of games like god eater 2 and freedom wars and stuffs hasn't been announced with release dates and stuffs... So I still believe it really lacks good games to get it at the moment
New Vita model announced in Japan. Wi-Fi only. Yellow, pink, white, gray, lime green, black and light blue. Thinner and lighter. 5 inch LCD display.(not OLED apparently) 1GB memory built in. 1 hour more battery life. Micro USB type B, universal standard Video:
That seems more pinkish than redish to me, idk...(though I might have made a mistake on the yellow, I think I confused that with the lime green.)
In addition to a remodel, Sony announced Vita TV. It allows you to play your Vita, PSP, and presumably PS1 and PS Mobile games on your TV. It will allow you to use remote play with PS4 as well, and let you access several different media streaming services. It comes with a Dualshock 3 controller, and will cost about $100. I don't understand what the point of that is, but there are people who were wanting to play their Vita games on a TV for some reason. Also what is the connection to the PS4? What does it do for that? Confused. Ok, I see the point with PS4. Let's you play on a different TV. That bit could actually be useful if it works well. No PS4 any time soon for me, though, and it's another $100 to get that functionality. Ouch.
Oh well seems like more useless Ouya to me lol. Anyways, I wanna see what new vita screen is like with games. From The stage it looked a lot darker tone color
The Vita OLED screen looks great, but so does a good quality LCD? Maybe if I saw them side-by-side. Both work terrible outdoors. I found that out a few weeks ago when I tried to play Spelunky in my car at lunch. I couldn't see the spiders nor even the exit, and that wasn't in direct light and it was sort of a hazy day. Sketchy visibility does not work for Spelunky. LOL. I was able to play Divekick, though - that works OK.
On the PS Vita TV, how would you play games with the Dualshock 3 that require touch input? Edit: Nevermind. I read on IGN that not all Vita games are supported.

Feeling kinda meh about the mini-console I can't see it benefiting the Vita if anything it will just mean games will stop ever trying to use the touchscreen and I really can't think of any games I own already that don't need it. Another killer to me is the use of Sony's Vita memory cards who wants a tv console with only 32gb space on it. I also really dislike the news of an LCD in newer models I always feared Sony would do that to cut costs and with me the OLED was by far the best part of the Vita. I'm even finding myself going off the idea of the PS4 right now. Maybe I'll feel better about it when I go out sometime this week and get myself a copy of Killzone.
