I just learned that KZ:M uses peer-to-peer for networking, at least in the beta. Hosts are going to rage quit, or quit without realizing it kills the server, or run out of power. In fact I think I must have run-out-of-power killed the server I was on last night. I started a game and now that I think about it, I think I may have created the server. I picked the Create option - I didn't even see a join option. I didn't realize it was dependent on me being online and in any case I just ran out of power mid-game.

And yes, Vita is getting BL2. Would be more impressive if it was BL3, but it's still kind of cool.

Borderlands 2 hasn't been out for a year yet, so seeing a BL3 even be announced for home consoles now would be unlikely.

Yet another PSN sale coming up (NA). There's more than this, but I'm only listing games available on the Vita.

    Game :
Regular Price | Sale Price | Plus Price

Retro City Rampage (PS3 and PS Vita, Cross-Buy)
    $14.99 | $4.99 | $3.74

Dragon Fantasy Book I (PS3 and PS Vita, Cross-Buy)
    $9.99 | $4.99 | $2.50

Limbo (PS3 and PS Vita, Cross-Buy)
    $14.99 | $7.49 | $5.99

Zombie Tycoon II: Brainhov’s Revenge (PS3 and PS Vita, Cross-Buy)
    $9.99 | $4.99 | $2.50

Definitely buying Limbo and Dragon Fantasy. Sony, quit taking my money!

Are you positive on that? Because I've played a few matches where the host has quit, and the game didn't end- another player was made the host.

I read it on the internets - it must be true! LOL. I've since been seeing things like you said, so maybe it isn't the case.

Spelunky is out today (will be out today)! Woohoo!

Did anyone get Divekick? It sounds pretty funny, but it also sounds like it could just be a novelty game. Did they really turn the concept into a fun game? For the asking price I guess they think they did. I am sort of drawn to it, but I haven't pulled the trigger.

Spelunky is up (in US at least)! $11.99 if you have PS+. Bought. Queued. Now to get home and download this and Divekick. Lots of fun on tap tonight!

I've never tried spelunky, don't know if I'll like it. Will probably get it and Divekick. Not sure what else.

Buying Spelunky for the PS3, but it seems like a perfect Vita game. I suspect I will be very tempted to get a Vita soon.

Got Spelunky. Really fun and addicting, but dang can it be cruel.

Spelunky is the first PC-also game that I opt to get on Vita. Looks perfect to play on the go.

Spelunky is beautiful on Vita! Also I was happy to see we get some extra costumes as compared to Xbox version. I like the cyclops. :) Maybe these can be unlocked on the 360 - not sure. Such a great game. But yes, cruel too. :) So far my best on Vita is 2-4, not quite getting to the exit - damn shop keeper went nuts on me! LOL!

Divekick is pretty cool too. I have always kind of liked fighting games, but I find them completely unplayable with all their controller gymnastics. Divekick is the antithesis of that, although there's lots of variety in the characters so there's still plenty to learn. There's a good guide for the game on giantbomb:

    http://www.giantbomb.com/divekick/3030-38394/

I was REALLY confused by Kenny, and that guide explains how he behaves to me - I wouldn't recommend playing Kenny first. :) Also explains the gems which aren't talked about in the instructions and covers all the characters moves and such.

They are available on the Xbox 360 as well, but must be bought. It's a paid DLC costume pack or something (that's what I read).

So I got Stealth Inc (It's one of the free PS+ games for this month in the EU) and am really liking it so far (played the first 3 levels). Definitely a game worth checking out.

Okay, between this thread and the reddit/r/vita talk, I'm sold on Spelunky. I tried the browser version and it seemed fun. I did like the random generated levels so that it was always something new so that is a big plus.

I was curious about Dive Kick and might give that a shot as well. It looks fun and I'm curious about the 2 button mechanic.

Still, cannot wait until September 10th for Killzone.

Yeah, that's a great game. I paid for it and maybe it goes free in the US at some point, but I'm OK with it. I got my money's worth! I'm going to get the DLC pack at some point.

    Enjoy it my friend!

I mean to message you, I played with you in match this weekend (PSN jhaasl) and got dropped! Had fun though.

Please post impressions of the single player campaign if you can. :)

I'll try to and will hopefully have a Singleplayer and Multiplayer (of a new map that wasn't in either of the Betas of course!) gameplay video (or at least one of the two).

The only problem is that I'm not sure when exactly we'll be on holiday, so depending on when we go it may either be hard to record (Trying to record in a hotel with a worse setup), hard to upload (possibly bad hotel wifi) or I won't have enought time to do both videos (going on holiday the day after the game comes out, only having enough time to record and upload one of the two videos).

Right now I'm kind of taking a break from the KZ:M beta, since playing on the same map over and over again can get a little bit repetitive

Dunno whether to be glad or upset that I have to do a 3rd (and a possible 4th?) playthrough of persona 4 golden for the Platinum.

Somehow came up short on those damn social links T_T. I swear I focused only on them. Will find a guide now.

Just went to play unit 13 and it made me update to 2.61, pretty annoying when that happens no idea what's new but obviously one Sony feels is important enough to stop you playing.
