So after playing Killzone Mercenary all I can say is WOW. I have NEVER had this much fun playing a FPS. I'm so surprised at how fun Warzone mode is. The first 2 or 3 matches it was hard for me to really get into because I couldn't stop noticing how absoloutely gorgeous this game is(screenshots and gameplay videos really don't do it justice once you see it in person). I'm consistently scoring in the mid 40 point range each game and in the game I played before I had to stop to charge my battery I scored 55. After playing I really think Sony is dropping the ball on this game, this game should be getting some serious advertising, I've never seen a commercial for it. I also think it should be getting a limited edtion bundle a la the Soul Sacrifice bundle, if it did to be honest I would buy it even though I already have a Vita.
Wow, so many positive remarks for Killzone. I'll pass on the beta and play the finished product at some point (I know I'm missing out). Cool video too DK. I too, would like to see some advertising for Killzone. Push those Vitas
Killzone does look amazing I always knew nihilistic were just going for a quick cash cow still really bitter about them they as good as made the Vita a laughing stock maybe Killzone can reverse some of the damage. I'll just wait until it's complete and retail can't wait though.
Turning off the HUD makes Killzone Mercenary look so much better. I might have to play the singleplayer like this when the full game is out. (Ok, I'd turn the crosshair back on) And this rocket launcher is, well, interesting...

Thinking of getting a Vita now that Borderlands 2 is coming out for it. Any recommendations for other games that I might like? I'm not super familiar with the console yet.
I cant put out any recommendations since I don't know what types of games you play. JRPG's, Puzzles, Music/Rhythm Fighting etc? But at any rate, heres some pretty good games out right now (not my Videos):
So I set a new personal best for a game and was able to score 64 points. I was surprised I made it into the 60's, I've gotten into the 50's a few times but I wasn't sure if I could break 60.
I usually get something between 40 and 50 points, but my K/D is also almost always better than what you got in that picture (usually it's above 2) Perhaps we should play together some time? I don't think the enemy team would stand a chance!
Yeah I'm down for that. Lol I agree, I think we'd dominate. I was playing last night and in the last game before my battery died I scored 63. So close to beating my personal best. I kept thinking "if I would've just got 2 more kills in the opening or ending phases".
A little disappointed that I got dropped from Ace to King of clubs . I've been pretty happy with my performance recently though, just went 48-10, can't remember my score though. By the way, any of you who want to add me I'm Fireball2697 on PSN. I'll be on later tonight and maybe in a little while.
Tried Killzone last night finally. It reminded me that I suck at FPSs. Wasn't really having that much fun other than that it was cool to have a real FPS on the Vita. I guess. The game needs a kill cam. If you're the type that always has a postiive K/D ratio this doesn't matter, but if you die a lot it at least gives you something to look at. LOL. If the single player campaign is a significant part of the game I could see picking it up, but if it's mostly online multiplayer I am not sure I'll get it. On other hand I bought Guacamelee and Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack since they were on sale. Really loving Guacamelee a lot, though I did hit a really tough platforming section last night that was giving me fits. Hopefully I can get past it! Maybe I recruit my son to help. I played a little bit of Mutant Blobs Attack and that seems like a fun game too, though I haven't gotten far enough yet to really judge it. And Spelunky this week! Woohoo! I can't wait. A perfect portable game (IMHO). Will be buying it as soon as I can. Then dying many, many times. LOL.
