I'd say so. Bought it for that price about a month ago, when it was a part of the summer sale. The update they released improves it quite a bit. It's an interesting game- it's a mix up of dungeon crawler RPG and survival horror. It's not a typical Silent Hill game though. I've had fun with it so far, and about $8 is a pretty good price for it.
Yes it is. Ridge Racer is barely worth $2 with the ridiculously little amount of content it has though.
Gravity Rush *hasn't* grabbed me yet. The game wasn't what I was expecting and so far I don't think it's really all that fun, which is why I set it aside. But I figure I should go back to it at some point and see if it gets better since I have it from PS+. So actually that isn't the opposite... unless it never grows on me. Then it's half opposite. They should make Runner 2 for Vita. That would be a great Vita game. I got it for PS3 from PS+ and it's good. But I wish I could play it on Vita. EDIT: I guess I should do a little research. LOL. http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/13/runner-2-vita-release-window-narrowed-to-between-mid-july-and-m/
I found gravity rush to be kind of repetetive and of course it had all of the usual problems I have with japanese games like it, but at the time it was one of the first big Vita games after the summer game drought, so it had that going for it back then...
So yeah no call of duty ghost spinoff for vita this year. Thought never neversoft was working on it but they weren't. It was For the ghost.
If there was a CoD game coming for the Vita they wouldn't announce it at the multiplayer reveal for Ghosts. 1. Most of the people watching the multiplayer reveal probably don't care about the Vita. 2. The announcement would ruin the flow of the event. (Because of point 1) 3. Such a game would be announced at a sony event. The multiplayer reveal was clearly focused on the Xbox. (Major Nelson being there, the players playing on Xboxes, the whole transfer stuff only being shown with the Xbox as an example, ...)
Ladies and Gentlemen... looks like we have a SYSTEM SELLER. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Note: This is unfortunately not the DLC for Call of Duty Ghosts. http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2013/08/15/introducing-playstation-vita-pets-coming-in-2014/
The Vita's Wonderbook. Targeting young kids and casuals. I wonder what else Sony's got up their sleeves.
Not with the 3DS. Nintendogs+cats didn't do too well, unlike the original. I think Invizimals, which launches at the end of the year is more likely to drive Vita sales from that demographic (in Europe at least- it is, or was fairly popular there) than this is. Dunno though- Kinectimals worked decently for Microsoft.
Sony is absolutely delusional if they think that creepy talking-dog simulator is going to increase sales.
Well Sony sure is digging its own grave with vita with games like those... Jeez. It's like they really do not know what vita owners really wants and needs and deserve
Vitas too expensive a device to appeal to the nintendo market it's not a device parents will buy their kids on a whim, I think Sony are making another error it's like they have completely lost the plot or any common sense. They better start throwing money at triple AAA titles at the minute the only upcoming system seller will be Killzone. Only developer taking the Vita seriously seems to be Atlus and their games are generally hit and miss with me and only game apart from killzone I'm likely to buy is God of War Collection.
