Persona 4 Golden is sale for $20 on US PSN: https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/games/persona4-golden/cid=UP0005-PCSE00120_00-PERSONA4GOLDEN01 I cannot recommend this enough, especially if you enjoy JRPGs.
I actually bought Guacamelee around the same time as Thomas. I'm not really feeling it personally. With a name like "Guacamelee" I should have known it would focus a lot on combat. So that's my bad. Lol I'll probably come back to it later... Could just be my mood rightnow. Mutant Blobs Attack from the same dev I enjoy very much though.
Arrggghhh.... I have too many games, so I think I'll have to pass on this sale. But dang it if it isn't tempting as heaven! (never understood "good as hell" or similar phrases... hell is not inherently good! Heaven is, though! ) I'll think about it. Oh man, I loved what I played of that game! Super unique little game. It's kind of like a sidescrolling Katamari Damacy, but with a way different theme and such.
true Gek on NeoGaf has a preview code of Killzone and he posted a link with some screenshots he took of the game. Looks nice. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BwRo8wsSRkkBN1lFT1JGRGF0RUU&usp=sharing and here's a vid:
So now we have a $10 indie game with a $4 day one DLC (Stealth Inc). I suppose that's better than a freemium crap, but even then...
That DLC is day 1 because this is an existing game on other platforms, called Stealth Bastard something or other. Then they had DLC. I guess they could hold off a while before giving us the DLC, but what would be the point of that? So I don't think this is the same as most cases of day 1 DLC. I bought Lumines Electronic Symphony (amazon has it for less than $10 at least in the US). It's fun. I think I'm spoiled by Tetris DS, though, which was amazing and loaded with content. This game seems bare bones in comparison. However it's a fun game and has some clever game mechanics. It's worth what I paid.
Heh, Lumines is another game I got for free with PS Plus. The Voyage should keep you entertained for some time...
It's not been free on PS+ in the US to date. I figure if and when it ever is I can sell this and recoup at least some of the costs. Maybe most. It was pretty cheap so I jumped on it.
Hey does anyone here use a grip for your Vita? If so, what would you recommend? I'm seriously considering either the PDP or the CTA grip right now. Not interested in the Nyko grip.
Day one DLC is always wrong in my opinion. Always. Period. I don't buy any of the reasons used to justify it (it's additional content done after the main game was finished / it was launched as DLC in other platforms / etc). It's even more aggravating in Stealth Inc's case because that's a little indie game, not an EA AAA title.
Well after quite a bit of research, I decided to go with the CTA Hand Grip. Would've maybe went with the Hori brand but they seem to be completely wiped out of stock everywhere in the U.S. Importing was an option but not gonna bother. Same with the assist grip. The assist grip do come in white though (same color as my Vita). Whenever the CTA Grip gets here, I'll post some impressions.
this, uncharted, ACL, grav rush, and few others are the main reason that hundreds of people are still get in line on day one to get this little piece of gaming tool called vita(not stealth whatever, not thomas, etc). so sony, wake up and make us another real AAA games for vita. @haruhi, thanks bud for the video. ps. btw, metal slug psp is free on ps+ usa
Thanks to such an amazingly generous TouchArcader, whom I will leave anonymous unless they want to be known, I now have a working memory card! All my files are gone, still, but it could be fun to start fresh Downloading Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Mega Man Maverick Hunter X while we speak! Fingers crossed that this good charm will continue.
This was an add-on done later on other platforms - it wasn't at release. It cost time and money to make. I can understand your point of view, but I think in this case it's OK. Mind you, I don't have the game. If there's a demo I'd like to try it, though. It looks good. I got that USB charging adapter thing from amazon ... and it doesn't seem to work. I still can't charge via my portable battery pack, nor from a 3rd party USB wall charger. It might be a defective adapter, though, as others on amazon seemed to have it work for them for Vita? When I plug it into my portable battery the battery packs lights blink in a funny pattern for a moment, but it doesn't charge the Vita. Regarding AAA vs. Indie. All those AAA titles didn't seem to result in great Vita sales. Maybe adding Indie to the canon is a good thing? I certainly think so.
Indie games don't move the consoles, big titles do. Sales shows it. Even tho AC, and cod was a lazy flop it's still in top most sold vita games
