It's already been posted here, but sony just uploaded the latest Killzone Mercenary trailer themselves, so it's in english this time: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Also the release date has been brought forward to tje 4th of September in the EU (not sure about the US release, I read it's the 10th on Kotaku). So it won't be going up against GTA V...
Killzone seems cool, anything is better than Declassified anyway. This weeks news is.. Panopticon, Rachet and Clank? Hope there will be a lot of rumors surfaced these days, seeing as E3 will start in 3 weeks.
Well they leaked out AC3:L last year like a week before E3, so if that rumored AC title is for vita, we should see it next 2 weeks or so. And I really hope pre order works on eb games too for killzone... Only thing I hate about living in Canada is pre order bonuses for games
There are quite a few Open world games on the Vita, the ones I can think of off the top of my head are Gravity Rush, Assassin's Creed Liberation and Need for Speed Most Wanted
It's a great shooter, though it lacks a big overarching story, and isn't a run and gun type of shooter- you have to be very tactical, as just a few shots will kill you (same for enemies though). Very underrated game. There are several open world games on the Vita. As Der-Kleine mentioned, Gravity Rush, Need for Speed, and Assassin's Creed: Liberation are all open world. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is also open world, as well as Retro City Rampage, and Knytt Underground.
I wasn't sure if I should call some of those games open world, but if we have Knytt Underground in the list I guess Guacameleee could be called an open world game as well. AC:L isn't that great of a game, I'd say wait for the next one (leaks suggest it's Assassin's Creed Rising Phoenix), where they hopefully learned from the many mistakes in AC:L. My main problems with the game where: - Not that interesting story/bad execution - uninteresting missions - No ties to the present like in the main AC series - the Persona system is just bad. I don't want to play as a lady or a slave, pretty sure this series is called Assassin's Creed for a reason. (Only the Assassin has access to all the mooves and weapons) - Really boring City design. (It's a rectangle. And all streets either go horizontally or vertically. Booooooooooring!) - Fights never have enough enemies at once - Framerate issues in the city that make the combat animations look pretty bad - AWFUL SOUND QUALITY. WHY, UBISOFT? WHY? PRETTY SURE THE VITA CAN HANDLE SOUND, RIGHT? - the multiplayer is so pointless. Why didn't they just make it like in the home console/PC games?
Well I started playing LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes on monday and Platinum'd it on wednesday. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it, Ive never played a LEGO game before and I didnt think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did. If anyone's looking for a quick easy Platinum I'd recomend it. I started playin LEGO Lord of the Rings yesterday and I have to say after playing LEGO Batman I'm a little dissapointed in LLOTR it's overly and unnecessarily complicated. It lacks the simplicity and straightforwardness that LEGO Batman had. I REALLY enjoyed Unit 13 I thought it was a great game. I wouldn't agree that there's no run and gunnin, it depends on what the mission calls for. Some will have you run and gunnin and some will have you stealthily goin through levels. The only neggative thing I can say about it is there's no competitive multiplayer, I think they really dropped the ball on that and it would have put the game over the top. Regardless I'd strongly recomend it, I think it's worth every penny at full price and getting it for anything less than that(which is easy to do)is a bonus.
haha wow. I've bought the AssCreed bundle back in Nov and still haven't even bothered trying AC:L. The AC games don't interest me at all. Yet I refuse to sell it... Maybe i'll try it when I run out of games to play on my Vita
Thanks for the recommendation. Will aim for unit 13 now. Also, how bad is COD BO declassified? I heard it wasn't that great.
Can't help you with COD but for open world games you may wanna look at Oddworld; Strangers Wrath. Its open world... kinda. You might like Earth Defense Force 2017 as well. I recommend checking some videos first, just in case.

Game might actually get a purchase from me. Thank god it's not a 3DS port. https://twitter.com/jack_mathews/status/325980967271550976 Edit:Forgot to say, this is for Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate...
