Admittedly, a lot of the support Sony has been talking about for the PS4 and Vita working together has really got me thinking about which console I'll be upgrading to first. I've been a Microsoft guy for quite a while in terms of my preference for a home a console. Sony seems to have the right idea so far (especially with their support and open-ness for indie devs!).
Does anyone think that mysterious port on the top of the vita will somehow be used with something PS4 related? I mean, it's been 14 months and we still have no idea what it's for, right?
Well Sony had this idea of psp interacting with psp. So they probably saw vita as strong enough to stream ps4 games no problem. Because I saw couple videos on YouTube with cfw ps3 using vita remote play to play bo2 zombies, dmc, tomb raider. And they were all running very smoothly. This means Sony didn't really see a point of making vita remote play work with ps3 when ps4 will be out in like 2 years
Not really what I meant... It just seems fps games haven't been doing well on the vita and was wondering how killzone was going to be any better. Speaking of which, is resistance worth buying for 27.99?
No, I legitimately want to know if resistance is worth the 27 dollars... What I was saying before that is there is barely any information about killzone mercenary and people think it is going to be a system seller.
No I was applying that to that differences btw cod and killzone. Resistance is fun to play so as cod but I wouldn't spent $30 for that. Anyways killzone seems and sounds and looks like its going to be first proper aaa quality fps game on the vita
Honestly, I think Unit 13 is the best shooter I've played on the vita so far. It's third person, but the mechanics work solidly and the aiming feels good. The missions are fairly short, usually ranging from about 10 - 20 minutes long. It's not the most action packed game ever, with most of the gun fights lasting 30 seconds at the very most. It may not be the same as a proper Call of Duty, but it still scratches the itch decently enough. I thought Resistance was terrible. Worst shooting mechanics. Hardly even felt appropriate to call an FPS.
Just played monster hunter 3 ultimate demo on my friend's 3ds xl, control is way more harder than psp, game is so stretched out and I think it looks even better on ####ing psp go... I really am quite disappointed about this. From off screen videos, it looked better than this... Hopefully after mh4, they would bring monster hunter that actually looks good on to vita
Really? I dunno, I played the first couple of levels and just could not get over how disappointed I was. I thought I'd be running and gunning, fighting for ground in firefights with enemy AI, and all that. Instead I found myself strafing, standing still, and shooting enemies that mostly felt like they were a part of a target shooting gallery. Instead of making a game with solid shooting and then adding special abilities to weapons to make that combat even more fun and interesting, it felt like they used the special abilities as an excuse to dodge solid shooting mechanics. I would have vastly preferred a steady and responsive shooting reticle instead of that big box that slapped down in the middle of the screen.
No, it isn't, not even if you're a long time Resistance series fan like I am, Burning Skies is horrendous, the only good thing I can think about it is that it's VERY easy to platinum. Agreed, so far and by far.
I can not disagree with you. I was really disappointed about that game and so as Black ops declassified. But playing through the game just using sniper was fun, idk I had fun time overall. It was just good time killer. Better than most of portable fps anyways. But obv killzone is gonna be a lot better
