You probably will, but there's a chance you won't, as you got your pre-order in kind of late. Some retailers won't give bonuses if you pre-order any later than 5 days before launch. They print the code on the receipt, but if they have limited/no codes, they can't give you one.
Nice. I actually pre ordered a few weeks back in anticipation of this game really kicking my Vita back into my hands. Went and paid off the whole thing right after I finished the demo. Couldn't believe how long it was! I had to force myself to put it down.
Umm... I would say boss difficulty is much more harder than monster hunters. Especially if you are trying to solo every bosses, this game is pretty damm hard. Idk. Maybe it's just the certain bosses. But I have played all psp monster hunters and beat freedom unite (hardest monster hunter game ever) but this game is still pretty Damm hard. And considering bosses are at the early stage in the demo, they are pretty hard. And since there is no such thing as hiding to different area, it's could to be hard to find spot to heal.
Yeah to be fair, I haven't used the online feature. I had unlocked it by playing solo but literally stopped playing soon afterwards. As for a new MH on Vita, meh. Just download MHFU on Vita or, if possible, grab a WiiU/3DS to play MH. Personally, I'm looking forward to God Eater 2 more than a new MH game. I find God Eater a lot more entertaining than MHFU. However, I certainly would love a MH game optimized for the Vita! And I have a hunch that DD Soul Sacrifice will have the bonuses. Would actually be my version of choice since I would like to have a game like this at all times. It could be easy(ier) depending if you have some experience with hunting games. I've played similar games such as Gods Eater and MHFU so some mechanics already were familiar to me. Just don't go into the game expecting to spam the attack button and winning. You need to evade incoming attacks from enemies too. With the exception of Cerberus, I didn't find any boss in the demo to be particularly hard at all. Attack and roll out the way!
I would say that Soul Sacrifice doesn't necessarily spoon feed you everything you ought to know and pay attention to. The game may have some more complex ideas for casual players, but I would still suggest giving it a try. Just know the game is meant to push and challenge you. After all, the whole hook of the story is sacrificing parts of yourself in order to overcome enemies that might otherwise kill you. It ain't no cake walk, I'll say that.
Blah. Really want to get into Monster Hunter, but I have absolutely zero plans to get a 3DS OR a Wii U. I traded up to a Vita so that I'd never have to deal with the bullshit of trying to hold my stud properly, use it effectively, and drop my DS. That stylus ruined games like GTA: Chinatown Wars. The idea of going out to buy a 3DS now and then ordering a second analog stick online just so I can play Monster Hunter proper? Just makes my blood boil. And don't even get me started on the Wii U. So long as Nintendo continues to chase gimmicks over quality, they won't be seeing a dime from me.
I was thinking about buying wii u just for monster hunter. But I don't think it's worth it since its just poor 3DS port. If mh4 has good online that works well... I will probably pick up 3ds xl on this year's Boxing Day. Anyways back to SS, free DLC monsters and stages seems nice enough to attract more player where Capcom makes you pay for every DLC
I have never been able to get into Monster Hunter, just seemed so boring(tried it several times on PSP). I have a 3DS XL, but I have no plans on buying Monster Hunter for it.
You gotta have really weird hardcore RPG taste to play monster hunter. There is no story, game is all about hunting and making best weapons and armors, and also MP which just has been added to the wii u version of MH3U. That's why I didn't bother getting 3ds xl when mh3u came out for 3ds since it had no online. Depends how mh4 ends up look like, I might get 3ds xl. But so far, mh4 looks pretty bad
Judging by the first comments on the blog our SCEA heroes managed to forget to include Soul Sacrifice on the weekly The Drop post. I'm really puzzled at how these guys keep their jobs.
I hope I don't sound like I'm bashing the vita when I say this, but the whole PS4 using the Vita as a second screen comes off to me as an attempt to boost vita sales more than anything,
