Played a little of Soul Sacrifice demo, just getting the hang of the battle. The pace is faster than Monster Hunter, maybe a liiittle bit slower than God Eater Burst. I like how every spell have some kind of limited count and make me think how and when to use them effectively. Just beat Harpy, haven't met Cerberus though.. heard that it's kinda hard? Other than that, the lore is damn cool. Every monster, places, and archfiends have it's own backstory, often (or always?) a tragic one. Also, because the story is represented as a book, it doesn't feel awkward reading it. Makes the game more fun, hell maybe I spent more time reading the lore than playing the game itself :/
Funny thing is I was soloing every bosses and missions. And I beat harpy before so when I faced her again for the second time, I excepted to be really easy. But nope. Got eaten by her twice and I am dead. I think this game requires you help a lot. You will have to be really skilled player to solo every bosses
I just managed to beat Cerberus with three random people online, and man that boss fight can get pretty frustrating towards the end. It doesn't help that he/it has an attack that can instantly kill you with one hit, even at full health... But hey, at least I managed to get this pretty cool screenshot of Cerberus infront of one of those near-death outlawed offering attack thingys:
See, the main reason that its so hard to kill him is because of the demo is locked to 20 lvl with only 3 star magic upgrade. Man if I could upgrade all my magics and get more sacrifice lvl, I bet I can kill him by myself
Maybe it's because the difficulty of the normal phantom levels is way higher than the early levels? Haven't play the guild level yet but seems like the difficulty rating is a lot higher. Cerberus looks very fun though, hope I can beat that before the release date. I kinda hate grinding, but well the usual battle IS very fun.
I already maxed upgrade all my main spells to lvl 3 stars now I want to buy full game and upgrade more so damage can be increased!
Jak and Daxter Collection Goes Portable on PS Vita This June – PlayStation.Blog Ratchet and Clank Collection next please.
To anyone haven't checked out for new MMO monster hunter online should check the trailer out. It's running on Cryengine 3 and it looks awesome. Now this gives me a hope that next gen monster hunter could come out on ps4?
I doubt a new monster hunter will be landing on ps4. That MMO is strictly for PC and China only so don't expect it to be released anywhere else. And if it does get released in areas other than china I hope you have one hell of a good graphics card because Cryengine 3 in extremely resource intensive.
Umm... That's not what I was saying at all. I meant to say that Capcom has been recycling same engine they used since ps2 even though starting from 3rd they added few upgrades into the engine. You look at monster hunter online and look at ultimate 3, HUGE differences. Fact the Capcom is using different engines such as cry engine 3, it could mean there could be another monster hunter games in the future that uses engines that could bump up the graphics to next lvl. And when they do that, it could mean ps4 possible get next gen monster hunter
According to the crytech at the press, monster hunter online will be out for different regions. Maybe I should get a gaming pc

PS vita capture with Uncharted golden abyss gameplay http://youtu.be/3RFYYxXTrDg This is just pure awesome... But damm price is just too expensive
Not sure if I'm getting Soul Sacrifice. Almost PSP graphics, terrible voices, weak gameplay... ... but the demo has that carrot on a stick thing that makes me keep returning to it.
Wow I feel the exact opposite. I love the graphics, the gameplay and the story. I think this is a lot better then uncharted. Uncharted had useless, frustrating, and annoying touch controls which were tacked on. I also didn't feel like the story was great either, pretty sub-par.
Soul Sacrifice with its small arenas is perfect for a portable system like the Vita. The textures aren't great, but the lore and the story are unique and intriguing. The offering combat system is done well, and collecting/upgrading/crafting offerings is incredibly addictive. The online multiplayer experience in the demo is the most fun I've had with a Vita game so far. I understand people comparing Soul Sacrifice to Monster Hunter, Gods Eater, and Phantom Dust, but Uncharted? Sorry, but Uncharted is the worst game I've played on the Vita, more so than even Resistance Burning Skies for me. I don't remember the last game that bored me as much as Uncharted did. The fact that I encountered a strange bug halfway into the game that prevented me from progressing further didn't do the game any favors either.
I don't think it's psp graphics. Also terrible voices? I don't think they are that bad. And gameplay seems quite simple. But co-op and difficulty and crafting magics makes up for it
Come on. Uncharted was so much fun on the first play through. It bored the hell out of me after I got the platinum but it was at least top 5 vita game
Well, though we have mixed opinions about SS, I think most will agree it's not even close to the system seller the Vita so badly needs right now.
