They were supposed to have Tearaway there (a Media Molecule-Sony game). Guacamelee, Dragon Fantasy Book 1 & 2, Dive Kick, Nun Attack, and Zombie Tycoon 2 were all supposed to be there too with Vita/PS3 demos.
What's up? Just poked in to see what you guys picked up from Sony's GDC briefing. Lots of stuff there I've been trying to catch it all through gaming websites all day long. From what I seen so far today: Velocity ULTRA looks amazing, I was probably the biggest fan of Velocity mini and I'm so pumped they're making a native vita version. FFX/X2 hd (anybody know about pricing yet?) I'm looking forward to. Guacamelee in a couple weeks should keep me entertained until Soul Sacrifice. Right now I'm just playing PSO2 with my Jpn account. I also saw someone post about a parody final fantasy-esque JRPG supposed to come to PSM which seemed cool. And who remembers Dragon Fantasy [rhetorical question]? The first one was great, I remember playing it a while back on my iPod now I'll play the sequel on my Psvita (so much better, I hope). Long winded post; sorry. TL;DR - Pretty excited for Velocity Ultra and Dragon Fantasy 2. JumpKicks or DiveKicks or whatever it's called looks ridiculous. -__-
And even though this is not related to vita news but I am really upset that David Hayter isn't doing the voice actor for snake in metal gear solid 5: phantom pain.... Still will buy the game but it hurts man! He was the legend! Shall play mgs collection all over again!
Terraria is coming to the Vita this summer! http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/03/28/indie-adventure-terraria-coming-to-ps-vita/
Kind of expected this. A few days ago they commented on a reddit post and said stay tuned in the next couple days for any announcements. I also recall a guy begging for a 3DS version too lol
Yeah. And he got immediately shot down. As cool as it would be in 3D, the 3DS's resolution is so small- would be hard to play.
So Ubisoft Toronto (they are currently working on splinter cell blacklist) said they have 5 more projects in the work. One of them is another assasin's creed game, it's not ac4:black flag. Could this be that mysterious assassin's creed rising Phoenix?
No idea, but I hope a more experienced studio than Ubisoft Sophia gets to make the Vita game this time. I mean, Liberation was a decent start technically (Although I'd still say they got the prioritys when it came to the graphics wrong and should have focused more on the framerate, the game running in native res and better textures than real time shadows), but the game simply wasn't that much fun.
They could be working on the next major console AC title, which has probably been in development for almost a year.
Hmm no.... I mean ac4 haven't even came out, and they are going to say "oh by the way, we are making ac5. So yeah there goes another $60 from your pocket" I think they are aware of this rising Phoenix photos running around the Internet... So I mean if this is actual vita game, hopefully it will have good frame rate. Don't need to be like 60fps. Just steady 30 like psp AC game... That's all I want
If they are coming out with another Assassin's Creed game for the Vita I just want it to have real Assassin's Creed multiplayer.
Well, finally nabbed a 32GB card. Should be here soon. Now to get rid of the 16GB to get some money back... kinda. Or just keep it for some extra space.
Tearaway will release on Oktober 22 - 25, depending on where you live. (Ok, I'm just guessing that it'll be Oktober 22 for the US, the EU PS blog only mentions the release dates for europe.)
