Some promising tweets regarding the Vita from the developer of Retro City Rampage on Twitter: The things I'd do for a port of Torchlight 2 on the Vita... Edit: Some of the indie games already announced for the Vita: Binding of Issac Bit.Trip Runner 2 Divekick Dragon Fantasy Frozen Synapse Guacamelee Hotline Miami Kick Beat Lone Survivor Luftrausers Machinarium Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee New N' Tasty! Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD Rainbow Moon Snapshot Starlight Inception Vektropolis Velocity HD A Virus Named Tom Really impressive stuff.
It's kind of funny how the Vita is pretty much the platform for people who want big first Party games and some of the bigger Indie games
Because I can use my crappy Vita to play more mainstream Vita, PSP, PS0ne, Mini, PS Mobile games as well? Indie games are just another set of games available to it as well. Also, welcome to TA.
Vitas great I'm loving mine even more now I'm being sucked into Persona 4, the levelling up I haven't enjoyed so much since FF7 and I'm still only messing around doing the first dungeon repeatedly. I went in to the game pretty clueless about what the gameplay actually was and my best description would be reminds me of Valkryie chronicles meets Crisis Core although it's much better than both those games although it did have me worried with the very lengthy build up.
I have nothing against the Wii U, but I thought it was interesting that the Vita outsold the Wii U in Japan for the first time last week (and that was even before the price drop in Japan). Vita should continue to do great numbers in the next few weeks since the official price drop as well as three popular Japanese games (Soul Sacrifice, Tales of Hearts R, Senran Kagura) are coming in the next week or two.
Neither of those will sell as much in Japan as the previously mentioned games. No, but it's fairly close.
Of course not. I'm planning on getting a 3DS in the future too, but the form factors of the 3DS and 3DSXL just aren't very appealing to me. I'm just waiting for the next (real) revision. I love my handhelds.
I think we all get it now. Everyone enjoys different type of games. Vita is only device actually give users console experience on go
No need to say sorry Gryphon, some just can't take any Vita criticism ;p Anyways, the 3DS is great and so is the Vita, I'm glad I have both as the two handhelds really complement each other.
