PS4 can play offline, so that's good. But you can't transfer PSN digital purchases nor any game saves to the PS4, for streaming use or otherwise.
Soul Sacrifice is looking better with every video. Sony needs to give us a English demo sometime soon. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Well, it's been a year since the release of the Vita in the US. It's had it's up's and downs, but it's been, by far, my most favorite portable so far. I hadn't counted before, but I own more games for my Vita than any of my other systems: http://imgur.com/TS8JX7W It's really an amazing device and I really hope it get's more support. I know that I cannot wait for the game in the post above this one...
I think people have problems. Most of those games aren't AAA games but they are all pretty good games and great ports and etc. people should stop complaining about saying "no games"
I agree I've got to many games I should have been more sparing to devote more time to each, I'm also eagerly awaiting Persona 4 hitting the UK PSN which it hasn't as yet.
The thing with Ports on the Vita is that unlike a port from one home console to another (or to PC) a port to the Vita gives people the abillity to play that game anywhere. It may not be the best looking version, but for the most part these ports still look pretty impressive on the handheld. I have only played the Sonic & Sega ASR Transformed demo on my Vita. Did it have the best visuals ever? No. Did it still look good and was it still fun? Definetly! What I am trying to say is that the Vita having a lot of ports isn't really a bad thing.
Yup. Just because they said "console quality on go" people shouldn't expect to be looking exactly like ps3 games. Graphics are the best I have seen on handheld. Games are a lot of fun. Trophy hunting is awesome. Come on, what kind of handheld have trophy system in games? As a playstation gamer, I loved the fact they made trophies for vita games
Phew, I thought you were talking about me there for a second! I don't get what people want sometimes and somewhat don't care either. Growing up, I don't recall as many games available on any system, at least ones that were half decent. I know I didn't play as many games with older systems, maybe it's because I couldn't afford to, but I just don't remember there being multiple games coming out every month.
I think because as a kid growing up, I didn't have much money. So that's why I never really had more than like 3 games for my game boy but now I got shit tons of games for my vita and ps3
Folks forget Nintendo and even Atari wanted as much per game in the 1980s as you're paying for AAA console titles now (you go nuts over the prices once you do an inflation adjustment). Rentals were a massive business because of this.
Don't know if anyone else has posted this one but it's the first I've seen of it, basicly it's more killzone mercenary footage and feedback from the developers Part 2 is here
Hate to post twice in a row but I noticed Persona 4 Golden was finally on the UK store and went straight out to buy a PSN card I've been playing it for about 3 or 4 hours and only had two battles. I'm guessing it will get going properly soon but I am enjoying the story it's pretty unique and already had some funny moments. Seems like it's worth the scores so far. On an unrelated note I bought a pair of Sennheisser CX275's cheap in HMV's closing down sale mainly for my phone but I did give them a testrun on the Vita and the microphone also works there, nice thing is they come with an adapter for any type of smartphone but I've found both my gadgets don't need it.
Just got my Project Diva-f from my local post office. So far, the Japanese only language isn't too bothersome (I have 0 experience with the language). Having a good time with it so far.
It also has a very easy (albeit slightly time-consuming) platinum trophy, if you're into that. Definitely in my top 5 Vita games list.
Knytt Underground or Modnation? Knytt is about $10 on Plus right now, and Modnation will be tomorrow.
Nobody should ever buy Modnation. Do you have Sonic All Stars yet? That's the kart racer to get on the Vita. Knytt is aight.
I actually quite like modnation but I really never would have bought it if it wasn't on PSN for I think about £8, If I paid £35-£40 like most Vita games my opinion would likely be different. Going to set aside some time for persona 4 later I still haven't really got past the plot introduction as yet it's a long build up not really helped by me being completely addicted to pocket stables (kairosoft) on my Android phone at the minute.
Grabbed Knytt- really liking it so far. I do want to get Sonic & All-Stars Racing, but I'm waiting on it for now. Too many good games coming up (Tomb Raider, BioShock, Luigi's Mansion 2, Castlevania MoF...). I'll probably get it if it goes on sale for $20 or less.
