Well, I just gave Sly Cooper a whirl, and I'm getting a serious Daxter vibe -- definitely a good thing. I know that the reviews are calling it a throw back to the PS2 era, but you know what? I loved my PS2. This is exactly the kind of game I want to play on my Vita.
Sly copper seems too easy for me so that's why I am not getting it. As the storyline, it's really funny and interesting, and I am quite old lol. I think they should make tv show out of this
Played Sly for a few hours today. Really fun game so far with lots of collectables to search for. Can't compare to the PS3 version, but the Vita version seems to run fine and load times aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be. It's a steal at this price as well (pun intended!) On a side note, can you believe we're coming up on 1 year since the Vita was released? I think I own more Vita games than any other system at the moment, love this little machine.
I think to celebrate, I'm going to play through Uncharted again. Still an amazing game one year later.
I've bought more games for the Vita in the last few months than I did for my iOS devices. >_>" Of course, that's not counting all of the iOS freebies I downloaded.
If I don't count all these free apps I downloaded from ########## *cough* I obv bought more games on vita lol
I might be the only one but I would love to see something similar to DDR S on the Vita. With the touchscreen I'm sure it could work. Stopped playing on my iPod touch coz devs still haven't fixed an ANNOYING high score bug
Wow, saw that in the PS store but kinda one looked it and never bothered to do any research on it. But after watching vids, its going on my "to buy" list for sure.
Technika Tune is AWESOME, speaking as a person who was pretty addicted to DDR (playing with friends at least one or two nights a week for several years). Great song selection and really satisfying gameplay; plus it has some of the brightest and prettiest visuals I've ever seen in a music game.
Agreed. The touch screen controls were kind of awkward for me at first due to the Vita's relatively large screen size, but the game was great once I got used to it. Club Mixing is destroying me though. :/
officialplaystationmagazineuk has a new Killzone gameplay video, it shows basically shows what the trailer shows, but with each shot being much longer. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Link to the article
Hmm, guess I should have looked at when they released that video, @PlaystationEU only just tweeted it, so that's why I only just saw it.
It's just recording. Greg miller said on twitter it runs solid 30 fpsish. No frame drops. They were playing it on tv with hdmi input. Framerates looks better than other fps games on mobile devices anyways
I gotta say I was excited for real racing 3 but since its free to play I am out. None of free to play games excited me at all, Zenonia, bunch of Gameloft games, dead trigger and all these other free to play games, they are just simply boring and no point of playing other than, collect this much coin and you can finally buy a new thing... Huge dissapointment anyways. Looks like iOS gaming becoming free to play is happening. Hopefully people stop that
I wish it was so, but I really doubt that will happen. There are just too many people out there who think that most of the games we're seeing on iOS now are great.
