Resistance, Assassin's Creed, COD, Silent Hill, Motorstorm, Fifa, Wipeout was until the DLC (although it's still terribly lacking in music), probably a lot more but I haven't been following them. It's really time to stop giving Sony a pass on this stuff especially giving big name games to completely different developers who couldn't care less. I hate to say it but the PSP games really were much better quality wise and you could see there was real effort involved. Best games I've actually played on the Vita were direct ports like Disgaea 3, Mortal Kombat and hopefully Street Fighter x Tekken.
What are these psp games that were so much better? At this point in its life I mean? The PSP library was awful in the beginning. I agree with your assessment of those games(other than Wipeout and AC since neither you nor I have played that game yet), however ports for these games aren't the way to go. I do believe they should have been taken care of better by Sony. I feel they should have been given the Uncharted:GA treatment though, not just ported from the PS3. Some of the best(well-received) Vita games aren't even the ones you mentioned. LBP, Uncharted, Wipeout, Gravity Rush and coming down the pipeline it seems as if Need For Speed, Ragnarok Odyssey, Assassins Creed, PSABR, Persona 4, will be good as well. You might not find any of those games interesting which is fine, it all comes down to opinion. Of course just because you don't find those games interesting doesn't make them not quality games. I can't get into Disgaea at all, however I can accept that it seems like a quality game. In the end the Vita is not for everybody, but no system is.
You're definitely in the minority then. As stated before, most people want either original games or new entries in existing IPs. There is no reason for people to buy a Vita if the only games Vita has are direct ports on consoles that many people already own.

Tuesday is going to be one hell of a day for US Vita gamers. Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation Lego Lord of the Rings Need for Speed: Most Wanted Ragnarok Odyssey Smart As I'll probably also get Okami HD on PS3. Classes were canceled tomorrow because of Hurricane Sandy, so there's a decent chance that classes might be canceled again on Tuesday. That means more time to game. Looks like the Pocket Gamer review got pulled. I'm kind of expecting it to come back with a higher score since a lot of the problems that the reviews mentioned (no dust or gates) were inaccurate.
Getting my AC Liberation and white Vita bundle this week. But I'm still on the fence about the color of the Vita.

Don't complain about paying $800 got your vita. I got it on launch day in north America and I don't have any problems with it now. So much games.
First review I've seen for WRC3 http://thevitalounge.com/wrc3-fia-world-rally-championship/ I really like rally games I'm going for this over most wanted as I think it will be more realistic, I'm not sure how I feel about IAP tracks but if they are well done and priced ok I'll buy them too.
Me ad my brother went to target and did the buy 2 get 1 free deal so we both got ac liberation and I got 2 copies of most wanted. He gave me $20 for the extra copy so in the end we both ended up spending $60. Will post inpressions later. Should have a bunch of down time since school us cancelled tomorrow due to hurricane damage & clean-up
