Yeah, the traffic level is low in all the console versions of this game- dunno about PC. In all the gameplay videos I've seen, the roads are fairly empty (and then there are random sections where there are a decent amount of cars). I don't know if it is due to a technical issue or if it was a design choice- I do know that the console and Vita versions of the game only ran at 30 FPS a few months ago, but an increase in frame rate was promised. They might have kept it down in an effort to increase frames. I wish there was more traffic, but too little traffic > too much. Midnight Club LA had too much traffic, and could make driving a chore (but Midnight Club 3 had a perfect amount of traffic). It's always good to see the Vita get some praise. I Do have to agree with them picking the Nexus 7 as the device of the year- picked one up the other day, and it is the best tablet I've ever used. When did Android become so nice? I went to it from a Kindle Fire HD (was a gift, but returned to buy a Nexus 7), which was probably the worst tablet I've ever used (only ever used three though- iPad, Nexus 7, and it). The hardware in the Fire HD is only decent, but poor compared to the Nexus, and the software is terrible- it's modified version of Android is more simplistic than iOS, and it has barely any app support. The only advantages it has over the Nexus are: better sound, a more simplistic/sleek design, storage space, and some of the multimedia features. Pretty much a glorified eReader that can browse the internet and play videos, and happens to play a few apps.
If you're wanting to try the PS3 version of the beta and you have PS+ then it'll be under that section on PSN. Likewise, for the Vita, just access PSN via your Vita and download the beta the same way you would a retail game or demo.
Makes sense. Let's say you have a Vita and will have access to the beta, do you think you'll also be able to access the beta on your PS3 (assuming that you're using the same PSN account, of course)?
The PS3 beta will only be available for PS+ members at first, but everyone should be able to join in next week. It's a shame the beta is all online though. I want to do a 4-player local match with some friends.
http://m.ca.ign.com/wikis/playstation-all-stars-battle-royale/Alternate_Costumes I am pre ordering this game unless I really hate the beta. Hell, Raiden and cole's alternate costumes looks sick!!!
I gotta say, having Spoiler Kessler as an alternate costume for Good Cole is a HUGE spoiler for Infamous. And no original Dante costume? :/
It's an old game at this point. Plus, they don't explain the connection between the two by offering him as an alternate costume. Doesn't really spoil much IMO.
Since the new DMC game doesn't features old Dante costume, it's obv they won't have old emo Dante outfit. People, we gotta get over little things. New DMC game is pretty fun
I'm sure that the new DmC is fun, but I fail to see how it's obvious the old Dante costume isn't in the game given the huge impact the old DMCs had on the PlayStation brand...
You've probably already seen this, but for those that haven't: http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2012/10/16/ps-vita-version-of-jet-set-radio-delayed/ Man, I was so looking forward to playing again today, it would have been 2 Sega classics re-released in a week (Crazy Taxi on iOS last week).
There was a drought of games during the summer, but the next two months seem promising. Sony definitely failed at marketing the system though.
Yeah. They kind of released the majority of their titles at launch and Didn't save many for later months. There were a few titles that weren't quite ready for launch that could have used more development time and released later. Now it feels like too many games are coming out all at once. Sadly they've actually spent a ton of money on advertising it too. Supposedly, the advertising is supposed to pick up this holiday season- they've just been holding back for now (according to the rumor).
