Well, from what I remember from the trailer, it is smaller. And that's mainly to accommodate the 4vs4 multiplayer vs the 6vs6/9vs9 multilayer of Black Ops 1.
Thanks for the impressions, I hadn't even afforded most PSM games a secend glance to be honest. Now I will. I had no idea Fuel Tiracas was made by the developrs of Velocity. After a second thought I'm starting to see some good potential in PSM, especially since it's tied directly to PlayStation Network. And I'm willing to support it given the chance we might see some Android/iOS apps ported over to be played with legit controls. Minecraft PE, anyone?
Just finished the Silent hill book of memories demo. Its actually pretty good game. I don't mind it at all. Even though allowing player to carry around more than 3 different weapons would be nice though
Looks like Fifa 13 on the vita isn't the only rip off practically the same version done by EA this year, the Wii version is the same game as last time to. http://www.nintendo-gamer.net/2012/09/27/fifa-13-wii-vs-fifa-12-wii-the-shocking-truth/ Pretty disgusting for them to try and rip people of like this I might start boycotting them.
Fuel Tiracus is really good but are those top leaderboard scores legit? I can't get anywhere near 5/10 seconds... Tho only just started playing. It seems you're not penalised for touching in the wrong place so perhaps you can be cheap with it? Vlambeer needs to step up and integrate highscores to SCB!
I'm a big fan of Silent Hill 2 and 3, so I will admit that I am biased here. But damn -- exactly what aspect of SH:BoM is actually "good." The graphics are mediocre (blob shadows on a $30 game?), there's little or no atmosphere, no story, the combat is mindless, no environmental puzzles, no interesting characters, monsters recycled from previous SH games, and so on. Clearly Konami doesn't give a crap about this franchise anymore, and Vita owners should be insulted (the PSP Silent Hill games are way, way better).
Unfortunately, even though I'm a big Silent Hill fan myself, I have to agree with this. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING about the SH:BoM demo makes me even want to wait for the full game to go on sale (which probably won't take long). Why they couldn't have given us something like SH:Origins on the PSP baffles me. Sure, it's not the best SH game but its a damn sight better then what I've seen and played of SH:BoM. My Vita is seriously getting used less and less these days.
Basically, I'm on the same boat, Vita-wise. I'm hoping that AC: Liberation delivers (have little hope for CoD after playing Resistance). It's nice to see some more indie/smaller games on the platform, but that's not what I bought the Vita for. Unfortunately LBP does little for me (never liked the franchise as a platformer, though the level creation aspect is impressive) and fighting games are more of a diversion for me than a passion. I was really hoping that Gravity Rush would do it for me, but it just didn't grab me: the gravity mechanic was cool and the visual design was lovely, but the combat was just kind of lame. I also think that making it an open world game diluted whatever little narrative the game had and made it feel unfocused and flat. I know that Vita owners (including me) want the platform to succeed and tend to be a little charitable when it comes to mediocre games. But we really have to speak up when games don't deliver $30 or $40 worth of value, and especially when they fail on the most basic requirements for being of "portable console quality." It's a tough situation because the biggest selling games on the platform are moving 150,000-200,000 units, which is nowhere near enough for true AAA quality development. I pin my hopes for cross-platform (PS3/PSV) development, like Sly Cooper. Okay I'm done: please feel free to go back to the usual usual PSV cheerleading .
Haha well said square!! Although i am enjoying LBP im hoping Assassins Creed and NFS will be what the console and i need!
Yeah, not saying there's anything wrong with LBP -- just not my cup of tea. Rayman Origins was the bomb, though .
Some impressions and off-screen screenshots from NFS Most Wanted (which is playable at EB Expo): http://psvitaforum.com/threads/need-for-speed-most-wanted-autolog-2-0.7245/page-17#post-158717 So good.

Also I played at least half of silent hill games, every games that was on ps3 and psp. And I have to say, graphics isnt let down, don't see frame drops, gameplays smooth so as the control. Yes its not the same as what other silent hill games has been but as a stand alone rpg game, it's not bad at all. I had "fun" while playing the game. First puzzle I had to do literally took me 20 mins or so though lol. But yeah, it is not silent hill game, but is it a bad game? No, stop caring about what other game has been like, just play the game. It's not bad at all. And since you can do party chat awhile playing the game, co-op with friends would be a lot more fun to. After all, it's a spin off game anyways. I do rather to have something like silent origins, which I loved and unlocked all items, this game isn't crap shit as everyone has been saying past few months
