  2. There's an article on IGN. I'm on my iPhone right now, so I'm too lazy to get the link.

Earth Defense Force games aren't terrible- they're really fun for the co-op. Single player- not so much. Kind of a guilty pleasure type of game.

I want to see some gameplay of Most Wanted on Vita. I have it preordered, but I just want a little taste to leave me satisfied and smiling.

    Why so curious?
Same here. I really want a good racing game for the Vita and I hope this is it for the time being. Gran Turismo would be awesome.

Btw, I would love to hear from a knowledgeable gamer here who has played both FIFA Soccer (the launch title) and the just released FIFA 13. Some reviewers on Amazon and youtube claim there's no difference between the two other than roster and kit update and a few minor changes while others claim there are noticeable improvements (player impact engine, first touch, smoother frame rate etc) in the new version. I'm torn as to which version to buy.

Very good, extremely addictive (spent more than 100 hours in it) SRPG, will be wonderful in a Vita version.

Yep, I'm not getting FIFA 13. Partly because the Camp Nou isn't in it and mostly because it's virtually the same as FIFA Football.

What they should really do is add a token amount of storage to the Vitas maybe about 8gb and work on getting bigger cheaper memory cards on the market.

In my opinion Sony's excuse for it's proppriety card being needed for speed doesn't hold any water it's way slower to transfer to than any Micro SD card I own and it really shouldn't cost double the price.

  12. I think Sony's excuse for the propriety card was that it was more difficult to hack. And double the price? You have got to be kidding.

I got my 32GB SDHC card for about 1/4 of the 32GB Vita card's retail price.

nope I can get a 32gb MicroSd at Maplins for £20 yet a 32gb Vita card at HMV the only place I can find it is £40.

so yes it's double the price.

edit: Only saw your spoiler code I probably could find a MicroSd cheaper but I tend to use maplins as it's convenient to me.

The slow speed is due to the stupid content manager (which basically only exists to prevent hacking- it sends reports to Sony on what you do with it). The high prices are due to them making a new format (once again, because of a fear of hacking).

Honestly, I think they should have just gone with some form of SD cards or even their Memory Stick format. Making a new format with an annoying method of transferring content didn't really do much to stop people from (kind of) hacking it (the Vita itself hasn't actually been hacked yet). Even better would have been to include some onboard memory- 8GB would have been excellent.

Even taking the content manager into account Sony just isn't as good at making flash memory cards as other companies like Sandisk and Samsung.
The whole way they went about it in the UK also annoys me they took about 6 months to let us have the 32gb card and pretty much everywhere sold it with the 4gb card.

What that really means is that almost everyone in the UK with a Vita was pretty much forced to buy 3 vita cards, 4gb included was no use for anything so only choice is to buy the 16gb realise that's way to small and then eventually get the 32gb when it was available.

It's a scummy move by them and the cards are in my opinion are why the Vitas not having the success it should be having. Still a great piece of hardware with tons of potential though.

New Escape Plan: Director's Cut DLC coming out today. There doesn't seem to be an introductory sale this time, so it's $4.99.
