Yeah, that's what a lot of people think. I hate how Microsoft treats small developers/publishers. The whole 'your game can't be on another platform before XBL' thing is BS- they never do that to big publishers that put their games on XBL, they only do that to the small indie companies. What they could do is release it on all platforms before Xbox, and then make a 'special' version for the Xbox later on. Then, they could get passed that stupid rule- as long as they made it different enough. I honestly think they should tell Microsoft where they can shove it- it's not fair for Microsoft to put a game on hold and make everyone else wait.
Release dates and confirmed characters for All Stars any characters you would want to see included?? Sackboy i reckon will be in it since some stages are off the game http://ps-vitaworld.weebly.com/battle-royale-character-roster.html
And nothing for the US. again. Sony needs to give some sales for the US playstation store just to give the Vita another little boost again! And on another subject, is anyone else disappointed that NCAA Football 13 isn't coming to the Vita?
Apparently, there's a chance that Borderlands 2 could get a Vita version. Randy Pitchford from Gearbox Software recently said that "he'd love to see a Vita version" of it. His studio is too busy to make it themselves because they're occupied with the console and PC versions, but he believes an outside studio could easily handle the task as everything is there to do it. I wouldn't get my hopes up on this, but it is a very cool possibility. I think it would be awesome to have this on the Vita.
Yeah thatd be awesome but it really wudnt happen unless Sony got their act together and organised something. Its about time they should start some more announcements otherwise people will think there arnt any more games until October-Assassins Creed/All Stars Come on Sony lol
Yeah, the next release I can think of is Sound Shapes in August. Still, that does give me some time to save up for all the stuff comming at the end of the year.
Yeah, that's actually part of what he said. He wished that Sony would get behind Borderlands and possibly bring it to the Vita. Hopefully they heard his pitch. I agree though, it doesn't seem likely to happen.
If I didn't have an xbox I'd want Borderlands on Vita, but probably not if it's to be developed by an 'outside studio'. We all know how that worked out with Resistance... there is something fundamentally wrong with paying the same £ as PS3/360 versions and getting a cut down experience. I'm not talking graphics here, nobody should expect ps3 visuals on the Vita, but in depth experiences handled by the original studio should be something Sony actively encourage.
Have you heard about A-men? Actually, I'm from Bloober Team and we are working on major patch for Vita users so any opinions, discussions and ideas are very important for us as a video game developer. So, have you any opinion about A-men?
I'm not sure we talking about the same game A-men was realised February 22, 2012 on PS Vita. Here's the preview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTciXB16-7w&feature=plcp
From what I understand, if it does come, it will be the exact same experience (notice how I don't say "port" seeing as how the game is unreleased). If it featured cross-play with PS3 it would be a definite purchase regardless of price for me. My brother and I tend to buy multiplayer games in doubles (BF3, Borderlands 1, Black Ops, etc.) Too bad it most likely won't happen. I blame Sony.
That's pure speculation. If it's gonna be handled by an outside studio then the result could be anything but exact. Pitchford reckons the transition would be easy, but his studio is too busy. Hmm...
Yes.. That's true but actually we are working on it (together with TopWare). You should hear about A-men in North America in this year But as I know it's possible to download A-men demo
I'm finding it difficult to get through this period with no big-name releases! I'm so used to iOS and the constant supply of games weekly.
