Duh!! Completely forgot about the manual, considering games haven't been using manuals for years. I'll sit down with it later. Thanks for the reminder that manuals once served a purpose besides legal jargon.
As someone who's never been able to get into Gran Turismo, I think that story missed out on the more exciting news: "The survey reads: 'Imagine that as part of PlayStation Plus, every time you bought a game on either PS3 or PS Vita, you would be entitled to get the game on the other console absolutely free. So, if you bought Resistance on PS Vita, you could download Resistance on PS3 for free. Or if you got FIFA on PS3, you could download the PS Vita version for free.'" Cross-play on every single PS3 game? Yes, please.
I could see this looking bad for developers: "Imagine that as part of PlayStation Plus, every time you sell a game on either PS3 or PS Vita, you would be required to give the game on the other console absolutely free." Thats like doing 2 jobs to make only 1 paycheck.
Well, they're not forced to make the same game for both consoles. If anything, this will force developers to make a separate version.
Well I'd give it a rating of 7.5/10 It's pretty good, but gets a bit repetetive. Still worth the 35 euros though.
well it's good, but there isn't really much to do there other than search for gems and lift cats, dogs and people up into the air to fling them arround. You can't drive vehicles arround like in GTA or anything like that.
Awww u make it sound bad lol, gonna get it amyway tho cos theres a few week gap until MGS wonder how big the DLC will be
When I hold someone up, I'm typically behind them. After reading the basic actions I see that if you point at their vitals, your target may drop an item. They don't do this when you're behind them, and when I release the weapon button, I fire. How do you reposition yourself, or "freeze" someone from the front so I can try for dog tags? Shaking sleeping enemies has only given me ammo or rations thus far :\
You hold another button which allows you to move while staying locked on to the enemy. x i think but not sure as i havent played a mgs game for quite a while.
Don't press the weapon button. Sneak behind an enemy -> pull gun by pressing down (D-Pad) -> enter 1st person mode -> if you're close enough enemy will freeze -> switch to 3rd person and go to enemy's front (you can hold the L button to move while aiming the gun; easier but not necessary) -> enter 1st person and point gun at his head or groin -> enemy first drops the dog tag, then sometimes an item -> dispose of him whatever you like. Some soldiers can't be intimidated by a tranquilizer gun, you need a "real" weapon, if even then they refuse to give you the itens just shoot their knees or arms
I quite liked the demo of Gravity Rush, replayed through it last night, but I don't see the full game holding my attention. At £40 I can't really afford to just gamble on these Vita games... a lot of reviews seem to mention how fun it is to just 'get around the world', but I don't really get that from the demo. The floating mechanic works, the art style is nice.... but what else? For those that have the game, does combat stay basic throughout? I didn't find it engaging, perhaps it's just not a game I'm going to appreciate. I'm intrigued though as Eurogamer gave it a 9/10, and I usually tend to agree with their scoring.
No you need LBP trust me and the Kart Racings only PS3... I got Gravity Rush just cos its Vita exclusive and big game-was gutted with Resistance-get hard copies and not digital so u can trade in once finished-got £30 for Resistance and Gravity Rush was £32 so only paid £2
To anyone still playing Little Big Planet ive made another level So theres: Cardboard Land Denim Land City That Never Sleeps Now onto Gravity Rush...
