Check back to the beta site where we got our codes, there's a forum section on it with tutorials and everything, some Media Molecule and Tarsier employees seem to be regular posters too!
I'm just kidding around, I believe Lucianorb knows that. But I am SUPER jealous of you guys!!! LBP was one of the main reason I got my Vita and I'm dying to try it. I'm in the US and no code for me as of yet. Who knows maybe I'll get a random email sometime this evening but knowing my luck I'll probably just have to wait til the game releases before I get a chance to play it..
Someone has just posted this link on a Vita forum I frequent: http://lbpvitabeta.us.playstation.com/ Apparently it's the US equivalent of the beta site we have in the UK, obviously I can't try it as I don't have a US account though. May be worth a go! With the UK site we just had to log in with our PSN details, then go to the section called vouchers and the beta code was inside it. Edit: my curiosity got the better of me and I clicked it, don't bother, it just takes you to a page saying registration is now closed sorry
I just got my invite! Only 473 mb download so it should go quick!!! The only bad part is finals start in tomorrow
This is kind of random, but have you guys seen the price of PS Vita Need For Speed? On Walmart's website, the preorder says 60 DOLLARS! And in other news, I still have yet to receive a LittleBigPlanet beta code
Finally picked up Resistance. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be, but it was very okay. It was pretty much your generic, by the numbers FPS. Wish they had experimented some more than they did- there were a few sections that changed things up a bit, but they were few and far between. In some places, the game looked great, and others not so great. It seems like it got better in the second half of the game, but then it suddenly ends. The best looking levels were in the second half, which is also the area they showed off the most- it's almost like they made the beginning last, and on a very short schedule. I love the look of the conversion center- it's the best looking part of the game and it becomes more challenging and a little less linear. They should have had more areas like that IMO. The multiplayer is very fun, though I wish it had more modes and maps and open voice chat (it's way too quiet). The multiplayer maps are fairly well designed compared to a lot of the levels in the campaign. Was kind of surprised- one of my friends was watching me play (he's obsessed with Call of Duty) and he thought it looked amazing, and really seemed to enjoy playing it when I let him. Some of my other friends started watching and they all thought it was awesome too. His only complaint was that the analogue sticks take a while to get used to. Their reactions were the complete opposite of pretty much everyone with a Vita. Overall, I think it's like a 6.5 or a 7. Never really encountered many glitches except there were a few sound glitches that I experienced once or twice. Price of Fifa in some UK shops really shocked me as well I bought it with the system and got it for almost nothing then saw it in stores for £45 (aprx 70$), For comparison you can order fifa 12 PS3 for £35 basicly EA are proving they are the greediest gaming company going and they think a mobile version is worth more than a full console game.
Dunno what time zone you're in, but it's Monday in Seattle. They typically only update it on Tuesdays. If it's already Tuesday where you're at, you might try looking them up on PSN- often times they put them up right away but they don't show up until later when the entire store updates.
I'm getting the same permissions notice, though I'm assuming it's relating to my actual PSN account permissions rather than browser/congested network etc, no? No access as we've not been invited to the beta....
Quite possible I suppose, I do know that a lot of people from the first wave experienced this problem though and there was a way around it so try googling it and see if you get any results, good luck!
Read a tweet from Tarsier this morning confirming that all USA (NA) beta codes have gone out now, the last of the European ones have either gone out or are going out today apparently. Sorry to any of you guys that didn't get in For all those that did though yay!!!
This makes me very sad... Oh well, hopefully there will be one more wave!!! Then again my luck is crap so I'm done holding my breath. Watching the leaked beta videos just makes it that much harder, it looks AMAZING!
Okay anyone tried the level creator yet?? I can make the blocks move in and out-any ideas how?? been trying ages! And the beta site tutorials are rubbish lol Ive used the touch and move sensor bits on the touch material blocks to no avail
No, unfortunately not that was the last wave of codes according to Tarsier. It's actually better than it looks in those videos, apparently it's running at native resolution, very crisp and definitely on par with the PS3 version. I'm hoping they announce a release date that's sooner than we all expect so everyone can play, create and share!
Not tried it at all yet, will be having a proper delve into it tomorrow though on my day off! May be on later for a bit if you fancy wandering round some other people's creations though. Edit: I've just seen your post in the private beta forums, I'm guessing your question was answered!
When MGS and Gravity Rush are out in the US, can someone tell me how big they are? Gotta know wich to buy tomorrow when they come out in europe!
I'm playing Gravity Rush, and after playing through the first three levels, I've spent the better part of a couple hours just running around the city collecting crystals and I'm having a blast. I'll get back to the missions here in a little bit, probably after a little while with MGS..
