I hate it. I've been wanting to get SOCOM 3 and Ace Combat forever for my PSP, but don't want to pay $40 ($40 after 2+ years?!?!). I think UKs price is much lower. I think I've read somewhere it's a conspiracy by Sony to build jealousy and start a war between US and Europe.
They don't appeal to me it's as simple as that really and I think the launch lineup was quite strong I just think what is been coming out now isn't. The main games I actually like above but I have other downloaded ones like Motorstorm, Hustle Kings, Mutant Blobs Attack and a few PSP ones like Disgaea 2.
Not gonna argue with your opinion but what types of games do you play? Sports, shooters, racing, adventure, platformer, etc? Madden, CoD, Most Wanted, Assasin's Creed, LBP, Battle Royal. I can't honestly believe you think all of those are bad games. No offense.
I do feel your pain. I've been waiting to download Killzone: Liberation and Syphon Filter: Logans Shadow for ages. Neither available on the Vita store over here yet both are in the US!
Perhaps, but i bought the psp version of SF Alpha 3, my most played and favourite Streetfighter, and it does not control well on Vita. Pulling off dragons and fireballs is tough, and while i started to get a gradual knack for 'special moves', i could never guarantee consistency with the vitas d-pad or analogue. I assume a SF tailored for the Vita (MVC3) will control just fine, but i doubt SF3-psp would control particulary well on Vita.
I never bought PSP games for their online multiplayer, every once in a while my girl and I will play ad-hoc. I just remember liking the demo.
Then there is no reason to download Socom. These games aren't not exactly known for their single-player campaign mode excellence. The SP in the 3rd game struck me as being particularly lackluster, although I seem to remember the 1st game being somewhat decent offline.
I'm pretty much going to get a Vita. Do you guys download your games or buy a hard copy? If you download them, can you re-download them later if you lose your memory stick or something? I hate carrying around hard copies.
I buy mine mostly on card at retail only cause I like having the box. If you buy PSN, you can download as many times as you want. Keep in mind though that Vita save game work differently than PSP. If you delete a psn vita game, the save goes with it - similar to iOS.
The Vita-exclusive sizzle reel that Sony conveniently left out of its E3 press conference: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel The Vita is going to make me broke.
Nice find!! Shudve finished with some Call of Duty gameplay to make everyone happy too lol, theres so many digital games due compared to hard copy games Ill have to pick up a bigger mem card soon
I buy retail. Because of its size, your gonna need a case if your bringing it anywhere with you; I have the Sony travel pouch. In the case, you can carry the Vita, a game in the Vita, four additional games, cleaning cloth, and some headphones. Also, it reduces the cost of memory, and if you dont like the game you can trade it in. If it was small like the PSP Go, I'd be much more inclined to buy digital.
Have the same case myself and I try to buy physical if possible but it's not always easy to find the Vita games were I am so sometimes I'm forced to download. On the E3 front Sony has at least acknowledged they didn't show enough Vita stuff.
Yes! Finally got platinum on Resistance. Bi liked it a lot more towards the end although there were some cheap moments. Off to a new game, I'll come back to this one again, I had fun. *edit* Just watched the video above, got me pumped! Why in the crap did they not run that 2 minute, 36 second ideo the other night?
These are all games I knew about in the video, I guess people need to see it in montage format to make them think "vita iz nawt dooooomed". Just knowing about them in their brain isn't enough
hey, at 1:34 in that video they showed the youtube app, it looks pretty good from what I can see. @WunDaii You can also back up Vita games to your computer if you want to keep the save and everything.
