Hehe no probs, yeah Oddworld looks a great fps, i am hoping Battle All Stars will be purchase 1 and compatible on both fingers crossed
I seem to be the only one who thinks all stars looks pretty dumb and not suited to the Vita at all, even the huge screen they showed at the conference the characters looked tiny and they all had huge white borders, when I imagine that on a 5 inch screen I just think no. I absolutely hate when beat em ups get cartoon characters added to them, so that's probably why I dislike the look of it, apart from the DLC that's also one of the main reasons I couldn't bring myself to buy Marvel Vs Capcom 3. I really wish Capcom would just bring out a straight Street Fighter IV with no gimmicks or DLC, SF x Tekken still looks like it might be decent but I really just want a straight no frills Street Fighter game I'm actually jealous of the 3DS version.
The 3ds one was exactly like the iphone version only not in 3d, im sick of beat em ups, had Marvel vs Capcom, sold that towards Mortal Kombat which i thought i would enjoy-i havent lol. I loved Super Smash Bros on Gamecube/Wii so i reckon thisll be great, but each to their own lol. Whens Retro City Rampage out argh i want it now lol
I think I've come to the realization that I'm not into fighters as much these days as well. Single player games only go so far and I barely ever play multiplayer. To me, fighting games were always enjoyable because you played against each other in the arcade or on a console. You could see their reaction and feel the excitement in close matches. When playing online, you lose that feel and it just feels like it could be any AI opponent. I will be getting PS All Stars, probably for both PSV and PS3, because I can play against my 2 sons. I can see my son and I on our Vita's while the younger one battles us on the PS3. If I didn't have that, I could easily see how All Stars could lack appeal. So straying away from e3 for a second, anyone excited about Gravity Rush in less than a week?
Official Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified website is up http://blackopsdeclassified.com/ . I love the screenie if that's an actual game footage.
No idea It was supposed to come out in May, but it got pushed so now it's just 'Coming Soon'. Though I'm talking about the PC version, so I'm not even sure if they'll release both at the same time. If anything, the Vita version would probably be released after, but I'm hoping not. I was excited... But I'm more excited for the MGS HD Collection
Is Treyarch also doing the Vita CoD? I thought someone else was handling it, but they've got their emblem at the bottom of the webpage.
I agree with Teknikal, and i'd love to buy just regular SF4 on the Vita. Also, if you're stereotyping irish ppl, you've got it all wrong. They're friendly and welcoming in general.... That said, most ppl are compared to the moody Londoners that surround me
Unfortunately, that Black Ops site isn't legit -- if you do a WHOIS look-up, you'll see it was registered and is owned by some guy in England who also runs a Black Ops fansite. I wouldn't take anything that site says as being too legitimate. If you want some better news, though, Destructoid has a two-part interview with Konami on Silent Hill: Book of Memories: Part 1 and Part 2
Was curious to see if I could preorder Soul Sacrifice from Game Stop and sure enough... http://www.gamestop.com/ps-vita/games/soul-sacrifice/102533 Hmm, should I go ahead and put my $5 down?
How come there is only 10 free PS+ games today here in the UK whereas the US got 12? And I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they're not all the same... no Ratchet & Clank, no Just Cause 2, no Saints Row 2, no Hard Corps Uprising... Really can't stand region specific content.
Stereotypes wouldn't be stereotypes if there wasn't an ounce of truth to them. Either way, I've never been there, just throwing a centuries old joke out there. I'm just pointing out that I think all he can point out is negatives about everything. SF4 would be awesome, but you know we'll be complaining about characters or modes missing. I would suggest that he pick up SF3 for PSP for $10, cause it's overflowing with content and is a stellar game, but I can guarentee the graphics aren't good enough. One thing about the gaming industry is you will never have perfection, so you can waste your whole life nitpicking the negatives, but your missing out on all the great positives. I just think it's funny, not trying to tread on anyones heels.
Anyone else looking forward to the Gravity Rush? Here is my short review on the retail version of Gravity Rush.
@KD: Per the UK Playstation Blog: ts true, SCEA get two more games than SCEE subscribers up front. However, most titles in SCEA Plus will stick around for 16 weeks before being refreshed in SCEE we keep games for a maximum of 12 weeks, which means we rotate through more games in a full year in fact we are committed to delivering over 45 games to you as part of your subscription before June 2013, and thats before we factor in any extra minis or PS one titles that might show up. Additionally, any PlayStation®Plus Presents games will be extra to the standard game rotation.
Nothing I've seen at E3 for the Vita appeals to me even slightly and the same view of E3 is common on all the main Vita boards/forums it's a massive letdown, also I'll express whatever opinions I want whether you like it or not. I've already bought ten games for the system but I won't be buying bad games just because they were at E3.
Whilst I understand that, I still don't know why they have to alter the games. I know it sometimes has to do with publishers but some of the games we have instead don't seem fair trades. Hell, one our free games is Motorstorm RC... that's been free in the US for ages!
I just find it really hard to understand all the hate when you have bought ten games. I also find it hard to understand how we've seen the top games coming out, which are undoubtedly better than most of the games that have been released already, but you won't be buying these 'bad' games when you've purchased ten 'eh' games already. I guess I'm just confused, sorry for my misunderstanding.
