That was pretty decent, looking forward to the new AC, CoD, PS all stars games. reaally wish there was some sort of Mega Ton announcement. Really don't caress much for PSOne support and was hoping more for PS3 Remote Play. Wonder book might be good for the kids. Other than that, nothing earth shattering. Well, back to life I guess....
I'm really having my first real doubts about the Vita now Sony just don't seem to be supporting it I always thought they would pull it out of the bag at E3 but really nothing. I mean seriously showing cover art for call of duty and not even a single screenshot. Couldn't care less about PS1 games I could play them on my old PSP and they weren't even half as good as you remember them.
Yeah but hey, at least they showed the tittle and legit infos about AC:R and other stuffs right? I mean there are already quite a lots of games coming out. AC, cod, soul sacrifice, MGS Well that's already 4 games I need to buy... Really hope they make announcement for warrior's lair's release date tho
PS+ got some bangin news. Infamous 2, Just Cause 2 was up on the screen, Saints Row 2, all for PS+ subscription. The Last of Us is going to be awesome, God Of War was awesome as always. I was already going to get AC 3. I was hoping for an MGS announcement. Can't wait for Heroes, AC3, and COD on Vita. Great show, definitely the best of E3 so far. We'll se what Nintendo brings to the table tomorrow, but I never expect much from them.
No gameplay demos for Vita at all. I tried keeping my expectations low, but I never saw this disastrous press conference coming.
One thing for sure tho, looks like none of games that showed on the show today for the vita and ps3, won't come out until later this year... Which means I will be just stuck with black ops and other vita games for now... "sigh"
What I'm most excited about is the ability to use the Vita as an "enhanced" PS3 controller. Supposed to be coming later this year, and they haven't released too many details yet. Was something I was wanting for a while (I think I actually posted about it here too). I think most of the game announcements will come from third-party publishers- that's how it normally is. Hopefully we see some interesting games at E3.
There's no reason to complain about what they showed. We already know of lots of awesome games making their way to Vita this year. What we know of the line up is enough to impress any console gamer.
Did anyone else find it suspicious the Vita wasn't mentioned at all in the announcement of the PS suite changing to PS mobile they didn't show a single image of it there either. That's another thing that I'm just not sure about now, I always had a suspicion Sony would be to crazy restrictive to make a real app store it could be I'm jumping to conclusions but it certainly didn't seem promising. Thinking about it I'm pretty certain they have backtracked they would have been hyping it up as a killer Vita feature otherwise.
I don't think I'd call it disastrous...Microsoft's earlier in the day, now that was disastrous. Sony's was more...disappointing, considering all that things that we know they're working on. And that's not just from a Vita perspective, either: nothing about cloud gaming, nothing about whatever Sucker Punch was hinting at a few days ago, nothing new from the Killzone developers, only one of Quantic Dream's titles, etc. Hopefully they're just saving it all for the Tokyo Game Show, because otherwise it seems like they're really not sure about the future...
...Which is why I said demo. I guess you can count Battle Royale, but that was showing more PS3 than Vita gameplay. Just to clarify, I love my Vita. In case you didn't notice, I actually started this thread. It's just disappointing that Sony decided to not take this opportunity to sell the Vita. We still have a Game Heaven event later this month though, but I'm not expecting much from that either...
The reason behind this action could be this, There are still 2 more days of e3 left, there might be some interesting interview with devs and more. Also don't forget about second "vita heaven" which also shows new game demos and more. I think all these vita infos, I think they just want to save it for second "vita heaven"
Game Heaven is for Japanese audiences. Showing off a SSB clone, revealing a Black Ops spinoff, and having a trailer for an AC3 spinoff aren't going to do much for western consumers considering how poorly the CoD and AC games for PSP did.
Yeah, Sony will probably announce more at TGS and Gamescom. It seems like they're more involved with those two events than E3- I'm pretty sure they've announced almost all the new models of PSP and PS3 systems at Gamescom rather than E3. Doesn't really make sense to me, but whatever.
Well dude it's not the end of the world, they could have just ignore the ps one classic support, and all these lil kiddie bs But at least they are trying, I could've tell how much jack was nervous on the stage. Let's just hope the best, hopefully we will see gameplay for killzone and cod later this month
Well that's your opinion, cod for psp was a joke just like ds version And also AC:R doesn't look bad at all? Looks way better than bloodline on psp. Also you get exlucive dlc like extra weapons and skins from AC3. So you can use conner's weapons and outfit for AC:R
Indeed it's not, but seeing how E3 is the biggest gaming event in the western regions, this sort of missed opportunity is kind of a big deal. I want the Vita to succeed as much as everyone else on this thread does, and the Vita has a fairly solid future line-up right now for me. We're in the minority though. Sony has to find some way to sell the system so that it continues to be supported. They did nothing to push sales, and that's not an opinion.
I am sorry but I don't see any problems at all, it was better than I expected other than not mentioning about killzone vita. So yeah, I do not see why looking at things from negative views. And obviously AC bundle was Sony trying to push sales and reminding people it's full AC tittle on the vita packed with MP, and adding extra content to connect with AC3 on consoles.
