Any impressions on Pure Chess(aside from the wonderful graphics), is it pretty much the Chess version of Hustle Kings?(same devs)

Oh my god, I almost pissed my pants when I read what was in the Resistance update...Fixes the rare cases that users were unable to join games. Are you freaking kidding me? RARE? Do they think we're stupid? They should be apologizing, not giving us the run-around like people that weren't able to join games were in the minority.

Hopefully it's true. Not really too surprised, because this year is the Kingdom Hearts 10th anniversary- and Nomura expressed a desire to re-release the games in some form so that people new to the series would understand the story. Except, I don't understand how 358/2 Days would work, as it's a DS game- unless they're redoing it like they did with Chain of Memories and Coded- wouldn't be hard because almost everything is in Re: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II.

Really, really, really hope this is true, otherwise it's a very cruel rumor . Sony will reportedly be re-releasing Kingdom Hearts, KH2, KH: Chain of Memories, KH: 358/2 Days and KH: Birth by Sleep in one HD-revamped package called Kingdom Hearts HD Remix/Remembrance on PS3, Vita, and Wii U. The purpose would be to prepare gamers for the extremely highly-anticiapted Kingdom Hearts 3. Would be the perfect way to re-experience some of the greatest games ever, and I'd finally get to play 358/2 Days and Birth by Sleep! Edit: Whoops, looks like someone already beat me to the punch. Ha!
UK got the Resistance demo last night and i love it!!! Sure graphics are plain etc but far better than Mortal Kombat where it went from a decent cutscene to blocky fights Gonna purchase later and hope i get online with the new patch

Have to say, I do like the Auger in Resistance. On a side note, is the digital download the only version that suffers from highly compressed video playback? I'm seeing compression boxes worse than an mpeg from 10 years ago. Does the store copy have the same problem?

Yes, I see compression on the video's, retail copy here. On a side note, picked up a second Vita for my older son. He's been saving up since just after I got mine for his own and managed to get straight A's this whole school year. So I'm taking what he's saved plus what's left and he'll have his shiny new Vita tonight! Hopefully having 2 Vita's sharing the same PSN doesn't turn into a nightmare...
They're supposed to look like someone encoded them with compression > quality? Also, its not just the gun tutorials, which are fine since they're short, but all the videos, especially the story lines. Argh, it just annoys me, especially since there is so much of the color Red in the videos, that color suffers the worst with compression. Question: The patch just sorts out multiplayer right? Skeptical on upgrading until I finish the single player first so I don't accidentally lose my progress.
The story scenes are the bits that are styled like Sin City type comics so unsure what you mean on quality wise, sucks you cant do screenshots on this game
