Nope just a network pass-Gravity Rush demo out tho but its the same one i ot off the Hong Kong store months ago oh well maybe tomo Bad news for Pro Evo users- http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Multiformat/PES+2013/news.asp?c=41511 In that itll be a long wait for release Im a Fifa boy myself
I hope so, otherwise I might cave in and pick the game up on Friday (which is obviously what they want). Don't get me wrong, I'll get it eventually because I love the franchise and own the other four games. It's just that if it really is as mediocre as a lot of people are saying, then I'll wait until it drops in price... playing the demo would help a lot. I mean they can't give us the demo but they're happy to give us a Network Pass to a game not yet out here and is therefore currently useless, nice one Sony.
Could someone tell me the filesize of the Resistance demo? My day may or may not have just ended in an incredibly awesome way.
Ok, well here's the reason why I'm asking. I wanted to see what the price of Resistance was on the german store, and when I opened up the games page there I saw that there was a "test version" available. (Note: There is no demo or test version or anything like that on any of the european stores.) So of course I tapped download. As was to be expected I had to exit the store and delete some apps because my memory card was too full. when I came back to actually download the game that button for the test version was gone. So I went to my downloads list and saw that it was still there. Right now I'm downloading that (And it is 2894 mb big, that's why I asked). So the question is, what am I downloading? Is this a demo that was accidentally available on the store for a few seconds? Is this the full game i got through some bug? My transactions list says I payed 0 euros for "Resistance Burning Skies: Special Edition"... UPDATE: Annnnnnnnndddddd... It was just the demo. Still, pretty cool since it isn't actually out here as far as I know
I prefer the "port", as you call it. Although if it's BO2 it wouldn't really be fair to call it a port unless you call Xbox games like Skyrim and Battlefield ports, in which case they should have built a whole new Battlefield and a whole new Elder Scrolls for consoles instead of this "port" rubbish they gave us.
Finally got around to playing the Resistance demo. I actually kinda liked it, just not enough to buy it at full price. I might buy it at a discounted price or rent it off Gamefly. I was expecting a complete piece of crap just based off some of the reviews I've seen on the internet(when will I learn to ignore them?) The graphics aren't awful, but aren't very impressive either. I'd compare them with a high end PS2 game. I definitely like the controls though, they felt really nice. Gameplay wise and control wise I liked it more than NOVA 3.
yeah sid, the only thing that throws me off from buying it is the price.. good thing gravity rush is comeing soon
If anyone remembers Spy Hunter a Vita version is being made not much to go on as yet but a trailer with no in game footage. Also some rumours about a Kingdom Hearts HD last few days.
If anyone in Canada is thinking about picking Resistance up but is being held back by the price, Future Shop has a "Trade 1, Get It Free" promotion going on until end of day today. I took advantage of it yesterday, buying Neverdead new for $19.99 from EB Games/Gamestop and then turning around and trading it straight up for Resistance. (Note: they're also accepting the Splinter Cell HD collection, which is also $19.99 at EB Games!) I don't know if I would've been happy with Resistance at full price, but half-price makes it a much better deal.
All this talk of Resistance has actually got me playing Unit 13 again it's actually a much better game than I originally credited it. The levelling and unlocking weapons aspect really helps.
I stopped playing Unit 13 for a while (due to getting REALLY frustrated at some of the missions) and went back to it a few weeks ago. Did much better for some reason! It's really a well done game and, I think, very underrated. Yes it's not a run and gun type of game, but I really like that it's not that way and more stealth/cover based type action, you can actually approach some problems multiple ways making it less linear.
With 20 euros, any recommendations on what to get on PSN? Of all the cheaper games I only have Super Stardust.
already have that, I forgot to mention, of the PSP games I have GOW GoS and Ace Combat Joint Assault.
