Tricky One: What was the first iPhone.
1. Name of the company.
2. Brief description.
Do you mean phone or cell phone?
Teledex- service for hotel rooms
Cisco- service to access net without computer
Cisco Systems, Inc. iPhone
The Linksys iPhone
The Linksys iPhone was made by Infogear in 1998 (Info gear was later bought by Cisco). It combined a phone and web browser.
The first iPhone was released by InfoGear Technology Corporation on 1998. It had a flip-lid keyboard and an LCD touchscreen. It was one of the first wave of internet appliances. Is this correct?
Edit: aww, someone got it before me
Winner, and very impressive.
But his was last edited at 12:53, he could've changed it.
When I posted mine, his did not say that.
Billhouse you're quick.
I was going to say Cisco, handset phone to be used with computer for VOIP.
It actually was a product they had and they just added the iPhone name to it to try to keep the rights to the name so Apple wouldn't get it.
I thought I had Cisco and a description? Good question either way.
I just added the link. And when you edit posts, it doesn't always appear, as is apparent by G0tsk1llz's post.
Then the only right thing to do, is to give you a code as well ... since the messages are not time stamped.
wait, I thought he put the apple iphone on his
I noticed that too.
So, how do I do these contests in a more fair manner?
I'd say any edited posts dont count. If someone wants to have a second guess, they have to make a separate post.
I would guess that most would do it the right way anyway, but if you make that the rule if should be good. Or we have to PM the answer to you, but that might overwhelm your inbox.
Was my answer not right?
The posts are timestamped. Both people first responded at 12:50, but then Noah edited his message. I think fleabag should get one, and it's up to you if you think Noah should get one as well
I was looking for "Linksys iPhone" .... but I sent you a code to a $4.99 game.
I think the no-edit idea is a good one.
I gave out BounceTrap codes to Noah AND Flebag.
Consolation Prize for Billhouse.
Next time, much firmer rules.
