Played around a bit more and for what it is, it is probably the best in the AppStore. It still just feels like a very accomplished tech demo with much potential, though it's hard to deny that there is already much fun to be had. Just beat a guy named Rza in the leaderboards Edit: another idea for achievements would be how many donuts you can do in a game, consequetively or overall. Also what I think would be nice is a parking mode, or that would be a totally different game but I think there are many parking games in the AppStore, though with this engine and graphics it might be a real competitor.
Everyone needs to understand how Pako works. When you hit anything with your car you die. No matter how slight of an impact. I'm not saying changing easing up on that is a good or bad thing. I just wanted to explain the inspiration.
Oh I see coolpepper, well, I did mention that any suggestions I've put forth were perhaps out of line with the philosophy of the game and should be taken with that in mind as I do not want to disrespect the choices made by the developer. Also, the more I play it, the better one gets of course, meaning that I do find a certain level of understanding as to why the dev. might choose to implement the touch and die aspect. It is brutal yet rewarding.
Once you get familiar with the controls and memorize the obstacles you will achieve better results. It might be brutal at first, but after some practice it is not that hard still challenging.
Yeah, practice makes perfect, still having fun but a bit more oversight would really take the edge off and make it less or a rager instead of racer. I also stand by the three strike mode and keep the hardcore mode as is.
