Couldn't resist a short burst before work ☺️ Exactly what Colepepper said It's PAKO inspired and not a copy of it, which is great fun, looks beautiful and plays really nicely. l admit I was hoping that the racing was still part of it (as in a different mode) but this is gonna be great fun.. Love the Hovercraft too, reminds me of a matchbox one I had as a kid.
This looks like a perfect fit for my six year old niece. She loves driving games but most are way too difficult. By any chance are they any promo codes still available?
I have to agree with Coolpepper43, similar to Pako, but different. Controls are great and graphics are ideal for both parents and kids alike. Not much to say, but if you like Pako, this game is right up your alley. A good change and well worth the asking price of $.99. Good job Devs!
Would love a code, but I feel I'm late on the bandwagon. If not I will gladly purchase it as it seems it is a game like tabletop racing, which I loved. Thanks either way, looks like a great game!
Alright. I gave this a go for a little while last night. Like some have said, it's plays like Pako where your being chased by police and constantly moving and can only turn left or right to evade them before ultimately crashing. Visuals are nice and I like that all the vehicles seem to handle differently. I especially like how they tend to fishtail around corners. My two issues with the game are the BGM and the tracks. The music is the same jazzy track regardless of what your on. It's not a bad tune, It just seems a little too "mellow" for the game. As far as the track selection goes, they just all seem the same to me. They look like my kids room on a good day, but there doesn't seem to be much variety. The same hardwood floor with the toys scattered in just different ways. I don't know. The game is still fun though. I found myself playing for quite a bit trying to beat everyone's scores. Id say it's still worth the buck. I just think that maybe I'm spoiled a little bit with Pako, but to be fair, Pako has been out for a little while. Still, great job by the developer.
Long time lurker. But I'm interested in a code if available. I have the same problem someone else mentioned about the kids loving racing games, but most are too difficult, or the menu system has too much going on to just get a game started. Thanks in advance!
This game is pretty hard to play, it may be difficult for the kids, but we have another racing game with the same style. You can download "Playroom Racer 2" for free. Also a new racing game will be released soon espacially desinged for kids. It will have no ads and no in-app purchase. Just pay once and play. In the meantime you can try this one. Code has been sent in PM.
Wouldn`t mind taking a code if possible IC, will post impressions and in case I like it will rate as per usual. Eitherway good luck with the release!
Wow. Thanks for the code and crazy fast response! Here's my initial impressions. The game is tougher than what I'm looking for with my kids, but I'm actually have a bit of fun with it. The only gripe I have is any collision whatsoever (excepting the small dice) ends your run. But I assume that's how the game works. I've actually never played PAKO, so I can't make comparisons with it. But barely side swiping something or even getting bumped from behind ends the run as well. But overall it's a nice top down driving sim. Controls are smooth, graphics are nice. I'll be keeping my eye out for the game aimed at kids that you mentioned, for sure!
Alrighty, physics of the cars are really fun, the graphics are clean and rather nice looking with a steady frame rate. I haven`t played PAKO myself yet either so can`t compare with that one. I think this game could do with something like checkpoints that you have to drive over with perhaps a bit more oversight like higher viewpoint since it is indeed pretty brutal. One light brush against any object and game over. Maybe something like a damage gauge or three strikes and your out something something would ease the pain of hitting or getting hit by something/someone. It would also be fun for example if you hit a cop car instead of he hitting you that he explodes and you gain a point and a new cop car spawns. Achievements would be great also, eg. survive 10 secs, 20 secs, 30 secs and son on, destroy 1 cop car, 2,3 etc, drive through 1 checkpoint, 2, 3... I understand that these ideas perhaps go against the philosophy of what the game is, just throwing my 2 cents in there. As it is, it is enjoyable but I`m not sure how long I`ll keep coming back since I don`t have GC friends to compete against which would indeed make it more exciting. With the groundwork you have here i see a lot of potential, either changing it up entirely and making circuits to beat each others time or implementing goals and what not,... Anyway, good stuff and I hope it does well regardless and will keep an eye out for what you guys will bring in the future!
Thanks for your feedback! Beside keeping the current game mode, I am thinking on adding new ones or creating another more complex game based on your ideas.
My take: beautiful graphics and fun concept, but the fact that touching any object ends the run makes it too frustrating for me! Also recommend that for touch controls, the virtual right/left buttons extend the full height of the screen--at first, did not see the buttons, and tapping right and left near the bottom of the screen did not work, and tilting wasn't working either, so I assumed that the game did not work on an iPhone 6 Plus! Will definitely play more if changed so soft/slight collisions don't end the game! Will hold off App Store reviewing for now
Thanks for your suggestions. I will extend the virtual buttons. Tilt control can be selected in the control options menu. It should work on your device. I will also fine-tune the collision detection, so slight collisions won't end the game.
Thanks for the code! Had a quick go and it's a good one! It is similar to Pako but the graphical style makes it pop out. As for suggestions, things you're probably working on like GC achievements, in game challenges and more variety in maps like ramps or tunnels. Overall good little game and I'm currently first in Bella's room
