Sure it's fun for a short time, but I prefer games with more replay value. Especially in sports games which are more redundant by nature anyways. At least Madden is coming out tonight. I'm a huge football nut so I'm rooting for any decent iphone football game actually.
The console version is out tonight (well at midnight at GameStop). I haven't heard anything at all about the iphone version except that you can manage your online franchise team from it. Sadly, I'm guessing that means it's just an App and there won't be a real game.
