Reviewed iPhone version on US Appstore as Zylch 2 Star review: Not very good Spy Cats is not very polished, it feels glitchy and is not smooth at all. The object of the game is to collect miscellaneous items while avoiding other obstacles. Go up by pressing on the screen and go down by letting go. Sometimes, the cat will stay at the top of the screen without pressing the screen. Also, there is a huge and annoying ad at the bottom of the screen (at the menu screen and while playing the game). After you die, there is also an option to "relive" for 99 cents. This popup appears everytime you die. Extremely annoying. The music is average, repetitive.
reviewed on US Appstore iPhone version as Kharma 69 i found that this gameplay is fun and unique! its easy to control. my daughter and my niece also love this game. moreover, the character, which is the cat is very cute and attracting; big heads and large eye balls plus the tiny body. i also think that you guys made the right choice by choosing the 'sky' as the background instead of forest, outerspace, etc. cause it really fits the gameplay, character and the music. about the music, i suggest people to use their headsets when playing this game, cause it will make you concentrate more when playing this game, and score higher, just like me. cause its pretty calming, cute and catchy. the only problem is that the "pop-up" when we die, its distracting. all in all, this game is a good game and suitable to play for all ages. 5/5 stars.
Reviewed as Brightness.L on US store This is a very cute flying game. Very good, music sounds good, hope you can adjust the key effects, the more smooth some of the flying panda. Now feel a little bit is not particularly smooth. There is hope in flight some effects that a small amount of adjustment of the icon, because the process a little bit with the game. Hope to add the GameCenter mode support.

Spy Cats resembles many types of endless runner games already in the App Store. In a way its a combination of Line Birds and Dino Rush. The game is extremely easy to learn. Youre a panda who flies. The controls consist of holding down to fly up and letting go to go down. Easy as pie. As you fly, you collect a stream of goodies that consist of bananas, gems, mushrooms and socks. The more you collect these, the higher your HP will become. You can also find gift boxes on the lower part of the screen that contain power-ups, such as a laser beam that extinguishes any obstacle that hits the laser. Some power-ups, however, do not benefit you, at least in my opinion, such as the upside-down power-up, where you go down when you hold down and go up when you let go. Your obstacles are cats on rockets, and in later levels, mice on rockets. You have to avoid them as much as possible, or your HP will decrease each time you hit one. Once your HP becomes empty, the screen becomes black and white, and the panda becomes a flying angel panda. You have the opportunity to regain half your HP if you fly though this stage without hitting any obstacle. This continues until you run out of HP and die during the resurrection stage. If you do hit an obstacle during this resurrection stage, you have the opportunity to revive yourself for $0.99 or start the game over. This game is not half bad. It isnt horrible, but it isnt great. There are several games out there that are better made. There are a few things that I do like about this game. I like the cute, animal animations. It is very appealing to smaller children who adore cute animals. I also enjoy the background music. I enjoy it a lot as a matter of fact. It adds a happy feel to the game. The flying, however, has to be the worst part of it. It is far from smooth as it feels like the panda goes up and down plane levels and not truly flying. Another has to be the strange pop-up faces of the panda in the middle of the game. Im not sure if its suppose to show the state of the panda or how it feels. In short, the devilish look of the panda just looks plain creepy to me. And one last obvious downside for me has to be the title. I feel like Spy Cats has nothing to do with the game at all whatsoever. You are a flying panda avoiding cats on rockets. It is completely irrelevant. Overall, Spy Cats is a half decent game, with good intentions and an adorable idea that could have been better made. 3/5 Submitted on the US AppStore as backtothis.
