Anyone think those top scores in Survival are hacked? EDIT: Just the number one score, which is almost 10 million. Seems pretty high.
It looks within the realm of legit. I wonder if its possible on the devs side to see any history of scoring. Maybe the dude is that good. If you really want to know send him a friend request. If he accepts then you can look through the other highscores they set.
Yeah, I guess it's possible. I score within the top 10 and I know that I have to bust my ass and have everything going my way to land in the 6 million range. It just doesn't seem like there is enough time no matter how good your run is to land 10 million.
I thought getting to 7 million was easy. Did it on my third game. 10 mill should be pretty easy, but I dunno. Edit: oh wrong, survival, I got no idea, ignore.
That's sounds really cool! It won't fit into Plasma Sky at this point, but I'll check it out. Wish I could, but gamecenter doesn't let me see that sort of information. It would be awesome to have a leaderboard without any cheaters, but I'm not sure it's possible.
Game just got twice as good. I just discovered that there are higher sensitivity settings past 'high'. Mmmm, max
Finally i got my iCade Core, so now I can say my favourite is "normal" speed. Plasma Sky + iCade = a lot of fun
Hey, my entire family has been enjoying this game. My daughter won the plasma sky tournament we had the other night. The thing is she updated to iOS 7 and now the game does not start on her phone. BTW she has a iPhone 5, if that matters. Is there something that she needs to do to get it to run?
She needs to rub her head and pat her belly while turning her device on and off repeatedly. Just kidding! That sucks. I am definitely waiting on downloading iOS 7 until those kinks are ironed out. I was going to bump this thread myself, since Johnny V has been having price drops recently. I thought maybe some new content was headed our way. Any thought on that, Johnny V?
It's really cool that you had a tournament! Apparently it's busted in iOS 7. Lame! Sorry guys! I'm looking into it now. Hopefully it's something I can fix and get a patch out in about a week (which is how long it takes Apple to approve updates). I'm a little worried that it will be a problem in my SDK and I'll have to wait for them to fix it, but hopefully I can work around that. Sorry again, I'll get it fixed as soon as I can! Sorry about the new content delay, I was actually planning on working on that today. I have a bunch of new stuff made, but it's still a long way from being the fun new mode I want. I got a little burned out on it and needed a break there for a bit, but I still really want to add that new mode. Anyway, I've added a warning to the app store page to hopefully prevent people from getting the game if they have iOS 7, and I'll start narrowing down the cause now. Edit: Figured out that it crashes while loading iCade support. I'll try to find a way to fix it without disabling iCade, but may have to for the short term.
Strange it would crash during icade loading. Hopefully Apple's new joystick protocol won't negatively impact icade support.
Stuff like this is why I'm holding off a month before I install ios7. I'd rather not have to suffer without any of my favorite games. Not that this is still on my iPhone, but I have my save backed up for when I get the itch or the game gets updated with new content. This still reigns as one of my favorite shmups on ios and typically is the one I recommend to folks.
So, update! I've submitted a new build to Apple which fixes the crash, so hopefully that will get approved soon. It fixes text entry too, which was also broken in iOS 7, and that weird screen rotation crash when viewing Gamecenter. I haven't yet figured out how to get iCade working, so I've disabled it in this build. The place it's breaking is tricky to debug, but I'll spend more time on it and hopefully get it fixed and added back in. I'll let you know if there are any new developments!
