    Done! I just got it uploaded, I tried to do it last night but ran into some problems. You don't want to know the technical details, but the upshot is it's all fixed and none of it was my fault. :)

    Whew. So glad to have that done!

    Glad you're excited, big thanks to Connector!

    Ouch, it was taunting you! :)

    Yep, here's the notes:
    - Added iCade support, instructions at plasma-sky.com
    - Wingmen have longer invulnerability when spawned
    - Getting repair power-up at full health awards points
    - Fixed Survival mode exploit
    - Fixed missing Survival treasure ship
    - Gave Extra Time drop a more unique icon and sound

    I'm not sure what you mean, the game should scale to any screen size.

    The ability to make the screen size smaller, so as to add a border where your finger would be at the bottom of the screen. Remember when I said I am getting hit a lot from the bottom? The reason for this is my finger is covering the bottom of the screen and blocking my sight line for incoming enemies. I'm sure you're familiar with this option; lots of shooters employ it. Danmaku 2 is one such recent example.

    It is not an option I ever use in other shooters, but I think with the way enemies spawn from the bottom of the screen in Plasma Sky, it could be a big help, especially with those using the iPhone that has less screen size.

    Am I the only one who finds the Wingmen's lasers somewhat distracting? :eek:

    Ah, I see what you mean.

    I'm not going to mess with adjusting the screen size at this point, my rendering system would get kind of sketchy if I tried to shoehorn something like that in now.

    I may be able to do something else to help though. I can add some warning text when enemies are approaching from behind, just a quick message mid-screen that includes arrows that point down and a unique sound. Then you'll know to look behind your finger. :)

    Just need to figure out a clear message. Maybe just: ⬇⬇ WARNING ⬇⬇

    Thanks. Level 93 isnt actually too far off where I got up to, level 111.

    Conquest mode is so... ugh. Two times now ive hit last level only to be hit and lose the multiplier -___-

    Maybe the highscorer achieved that crazy score by clearing all waves? Maybe it gives you a bonus score at the end of conquest :S

    Haha. There should be alarms and flashing lights along with the WARNING sign.

    Nah, you don't have to do a warning sign. It's just ironic that lots of shooters have this option and I have never used it, but this game doesn't have it and I think it would be something I'd use, considering the back end spawning. Playing this on the iPad must me advantageous in terms of an overall lack of finger obstruction.

    Anywho, I went back to playing Hardcore and Conquest again, after not touching them since Survival came out. I really enjoy the conservative feel of Conquest, where you are allowed to take your time and then shifting into Survival, where every tiny detail is crucial in terms of getting as far as fast as you can.

    John I'm wondering if there should be slightly less wait time in between the waves on Conquest and Hardcore. After playing Survival mode, Conquest/Hardcore feel slow to build and having less time in between the waves would give it some pop. What do you think?

    Me too.. I want my highscore in survival back :D

    That random ship is just that... random. It hasnt appeared at all for me.. ever since last week when I wasnt sure if it was an extra or I was just not into the later stages of survival.

    I'm right behind you on hardcore mode! 600,000 points short :-( died on 111 too

    My only tip for conquest would be to play it like you're playing hardcore mode

    I was thinking the same thing about the high scorer on conquest I missed 6 wave bonuses + all but one of the asteroid wave bonuses

    Volbard please explain how the final bonus works in conquest

    But if you take it back I'll want to take it back... Lets compromise... I'm thinking something like I get 1st place and you can have 2nd place (2 is bigger than 1 and I hear it's shiny!)

    I want to add a new mode that's like Conquest but more difficult and with no set ending, and I'll definitely shorten time between waves in that mode. I'll probably leave the other modes alone, it's probably better for people who aren't as good as you guys.

    It's currently set to spawn a tenth of a second after the level runs out of time, so usually the spawner gets killed before it can be made, but not always depending on the delta between frames. My mistake! :)

    The bonus on the final level is the same as the bonus for all the other levels, except it's bigger. The boss ship is worth a lot of points and that gets multiplied by your.. multiplier, and you also get a bonus based on how quickly you complete the level. Most of the final bonus is coming from that completion time bonus. It's extra big for that level, and it's also affected by your multiplier. So, it's a really big deal to kill the boss with your max multiplier intact.

    I'll take a new mode. That would be cool.

    It also would be nice to have a level select option for the regular 80 level mode once it's completed. That would make training for the first 80 levels of Hardcore more fun because right now it takes a lot of time to make a run at that Hardcore achievement.

    Granted that achievement is rather exclusive to the best players, this would just be a tool to better train players without having to dedicate so much time to making full play throughs of the game.

    Survival was my first no.1 score...it's special to me.. and the only reason why I lost it was due to a random time ship =/ I feel cheated...

    So sorry duckee75, but when the update comes out i'll be reclaiming my no.1 spot :)

    You can have conquest though... well.. the no.2 spot in conquest :) I dont think it's possible to take the no.1 score, since in hardcore I destroyed the end boss as fast as humanly possible... and still only received something like 20 mil bonus.. Id dare say that first score is a hack.. I cant see the end boss giving you a 80 mil bonus for killing it quickly since it didnt give me that much in hardcore.

    Nice score in hardcore btw, close... but so very far away from mine ;)

    Would this mode be separate from you making Conquest loop like you mentioned in our e-mails?

    No, it's all the same idea, I think it will be called Conquest +.

    It's a more difficult version of Conquest, with extra enemies and increased aggressiveness, and after the last level it will loop in the same way survival mode does now. Enemy speed, health, and aggressiveness will increase each loop. It would still have the health bar, but there would be less of a break between levels.

    That would probably the last mode, I don't want to add so many that it fragments the scoreboards. :)

    Ahhhh, ok. So, you will have the regular Conquest remain as is and then a Conquest+ that will be the same, but will loop and be more difficult, etc. I thought you were just taking Conquest mode and having it loop and on the first loop around there would be more enemies, higher difficulty, etc.
