I bought it this week (I think) before it went on sale and I had a feeling it was going to on sale again, but I decided to pay $1.99 to support you. :)

    I recommend this game.

    Everything about it is awesome!

    $1.99 well spent!

    Great job :)

Also rated 5/5 stars the same day I got it :)

Wow, it has been almost a month! I still play every day too. I wish TA would do a review or a TA plays. More people should be playing this game!!

Yeah, that was actually in my head when I made the health drop, I guess I got distracted. I'll put that on the list.

Thanks for the rating, I'm glad you're having fun!

That's great, really cool that you're still into it!

I probably sent them too many emails and got on their nerves. :)

TA writes great reviews, it would be really cool to see them write about something I made. It's great that you guys found it though!

Honestly, I wouldn't even care about a review from people that don't automatically pay attention to quality shooters like Plasma Sky and Danmaku 2.

But if they made a review, it would attract more customers :), right?

Of course. That wasn't my point. TA should be reviewing this game without Volbard having to ask them.

I don't understand why games like Badland and The Other Brothers get gushed all over for like 6 months or a year and there's not even a mention about Plasma Sky? I get that they can't be on top of everything and maybe Plasma Sky got lost in the GDC/EastPAX shuffle, but it's a shame. I found out about PS from the Hot New Games section on the TA app. It was easy to spot this awesome game, especially after seeing all the 5 star ratings!

I can't speak for The Other Brothers, but Badland had every right to be gushed over, so that isn't really the issue. Plasma Sky is not only a shooter, which unfortunately is more of a niche genre, but is also a sleeper. One has the recognition it deserves and the other deserves more recognition.

I can see how shooters are more of a niche genre, but it riffs off of Galaga in such a great way. It seems obvious to me how great this game looks from the outside. I'm baffled as to how this could be a sleeper within TA, if that makes sense. It can't be about money, right? Maybe they will take notice in a few months?

Who knows. If they haven't paid any attention to Danmaku 2 then I doubt Plasma Sky will be any different.

If you've got an ipad2+ I recommend checking out Fornax. It's a great accompanying sim game to complement the arcade nature of this game.

It's a slow burner and very different to plasma sky, but I reckon a few PS lovers may enjoy Fornax as much as I am right now.

Thanks! It would be rad if there were a review eventually, but I won't get my hopes up. :)

    Great to hear!

The patch to fix the timer display is in review, so hopefully it'll be out tomorrow. I've been working on some other little things for a patch down the road.

Volbard, is there any way to remove that obviously hacked lead score for the Survival mode Leaderboard?

Devs have no control over GC leaderboards.

Who does? Because that score is obviously hacked and it will sit there at the number one spot forever.

Only Apple has control. Its a common problem in pretty much all games with leaderboards. In all the time since I owned an ios device, I haven't heard of a dev that can control GC leaderboards. Thats why a few dev's implement their own leaderboards so they can remove hacked scores...

I just learn to ignore the hacked scores. If you take a look at games like Angry Birds you'll see a ton of more people with hacked scores...
