When the hell are the developers of this game going to get off their ----- and update this game? I was soo excited to see this update because I thought they would finally not only add retina display graphics but also some new content - but alas, my excitment was squashed when seeing what the update actually was. At $2.99 way over priced for what it offers - It needs more content like the PC version AND needs to support retina display just on the principle of them charging $3 for the game. This game could actually hover in the top ten continuously like cut The Rope and Angry Birds but the higher price point will never let that happen plus the fact that there has been little to no updates means there isn't any publicity for the game. A game that is constantly being updated will be mentioned more often which in term generates press and puts the word out. PopCap need to overhaul their marketing department and devs - because nothing is coming from either team. I love this game but PopCap as a company suck! A great game destroyed by a company that doesn't give a damn!
For some people it may well be.. but for the stripped-down version on a portable device it seems like a fair price. I wouldn't even mind if the addition of new modes were added via in-app-purchasing.
New update, just bigfixes. In the update text though, they mention retina and new game modes are on the way.
I wonder what inspired them to all of a sudden decide to push out updates. Well, whatever it is, thanks PopCap.

Awesome, I have been waiting to play it hoping for this! I hope they update Peggle as well, unless that is already retina.
The update sounds cool, really can't wait as I'm bored of replaying levels for the 100th time! Literally.
why does it take PopCap, a huge company, so long to update their games?? Retina and achievements should come standard for all PopCap games out of the box. Peggle needs it for real. We should all give them 3 stars on the store and tell them why
its takes them a long time cause they are a huge company and developing games for other platforms takes time, pvz is comming out for psn and android , also they are developing peggle as well on android...they are not all just ports alot of work goes into them....now that those are almost complete they can find time to update retina and add some stuff, that is awsome tho i cant wait.
