No problem there! Just wanted to get the facts straight. Quick (on topic) question: For the iPad version, are there mini games, Zen Garden, all that stuff? Or is it still slimmed down?
I know there are mini games in HD even more mini games then PC or iphone versions but I really want to know if there is a Zen Garden I hope so.
Should I get the HD version if I have the PC and iphone version? is it worth the 10 bucks if I have all the other versions?
I'd pass on it. As great as it looks, I'd probably get sick of it after playing (and most likely beating) it on two platforms.
I am starting to think that to. starting my file over again does not sound fun. It is a very good game, best on my ipod touch.
There are minigames and survival mode (including an iPad exclusive minigame) Not sure about Zen Garden.
Are they still working on things for this game? Of all the iPhone games I've played, I think this is probably the one with the most potential to be had from paid DLC. I can imagine a 2-player working rather well too - it would take a little thinking and tweaking to get the balance right, but it would definitely add alot. Shame Popcap probably don't read TA.
I haven't kept up on this thread, but has there been any word on if Popcap was planning to release survival mode? I finally got around to beating adventure, and quick mode is alright, but there's not much incentive to unlock the other plants. I'd be happy to buy survival as an in-app purchase, but it really is needed to keep me playing the game. Sure I could buy it on the computer, but I'd much rather have it on my phone, if I'm at my computer, I'd likely be playing something else.
Why would you get the HD version if it has less stuff than the PC version? And does anyone know or have reliable information if Popcap is planning to add any minigames to the iPhone version at all? The iPhone version only has like 1/3 of the minigames so far, while the HD version has around 3/4 of the minigames.
I'm also wanting more to do in the iPhone version, I just recently beat the adventure mode (that robot just won't quit!). The survival mode is definately something that should be added
The campaign mode was way too easy, I think Zombotanics is one of the only minigames that is actually challenging, so I'd love that on the iPhone version.
All zombies have plant-heads, and thus possesses the plant's abilities. A peahead zombie would shoot peas at your plants. So it's like rooted plants vs moving plants more or less. It's really hard as plant zombies have the same firepower as your plants, especially at later levels there are wall-nut zombies (extremely high health) or melon zombies (extremely high attack power).
Oh, my, I can't stop playing it on PC and still hesitate whether to get it on iPhone. Wasted days and twinges of conscience vs. so much fun.
Help! Anyone know how to get the 10 seed packet upgrade? I've beaten the adventure mode twice now, unlocked all acheivments, and bought everything except the 10 seed packet upgrade. I only have 15,000 dollars right now, but it says 'sold out' over the icon in crazy dave's shop, and I havn't bought it yet. Is this a glitch, or do I need to unlock it? Thanks!
Does anyone know of updates being planned for the future? I know that Popcap rarely updates the game, but they should definately know that the minigames, zen garden, and puzzle features as a DLC would def put this over the top. Thanks.
I'd enjoy the mini games but what I would like to see added most is the survival levels. I'm guessing that they didn't add them because maybe they thought the older devices couldn't handle all the stuff on the screen at once because they can get pretty crazy. I'd love to seem them add them though in an update even if we had to pay more $.
