so..when you have the time..why not give it a chance? just try the demo and hold on for the first 10 min...and maybe you will se why so many people seem to love the game
Kids grown ups everyone! The game is simply terrific. There is just something about it - can't put my finger on it that makes it so fun. I just hope they ported it well with good controls and the like. I used to play the online version until I got the Mac version. 2.99? Wow I was prepared for MUCH more!!!!!!! That is a STEAL! Can't wait til 11 PM.
I agree. I don't see what the big deal is about this game, but I could also be wrong. I am not TD fan in general (maybe that's why I don't get the hype) and am wondering if this game is any different and if it would appeal as a casual pick up and play as well as a TD game fan.
All I can say is -- download the PC/Mac demo and give it a whirl. I can't stand TD games, but after playing it for twenty minutes on my Mac, I'm ready to shell out the $2.99.
For the skeptics, here's a review by two people, one a PopCap fan and one who hates TD games and is bored with RTS games. It will give you a good feel for why Plants vs. Zombies is special. It runs from about 2:00 until 11:00. Note, avoid if cursing bothers you. It is good-humored, not angry, but there is quite a bit of it.
Put it this way. The first time I plays PVZ when it first came out, I had never played a TD or CD game. I fell in love with it, but it took about 10 minutes to do so. Now, thanks to PVZ, I have purchased all kinds of TD and CD games for my iPod. Popcap injects a certain addictive magic into some of thier games. Not all of them, but quite a few, especially Bejewelled Twist, Peggle, Peggle Nights, Plants vs Zombies, Bookworm, etc.
Game of the Year This is my Game of the Year on Mac and PC. If this version is half of good as that version, it will be a steaming bucket of winsawse.
read the damm thread this has already been answered on page 5 -- > 8 pm pst, 11 pm est do we really need to fill every thread with total rubbish before the game has even been played we are now on page 8 and apart from page 1 there is no info about the game at all
ahh isaw the PC version of this earlier today! and one of the plants looks like bellspout from pokemon!
I agree with soup: I'd rather not see this thread (or any thread) cluttered with asked-and-answered questions. I think we're all curious for game impressions from those lucky kiwis, or at least posts that bring up questions or issues that have yet to be raised.
I'm not in the damn mood to search through all the pages, is it that hard to answer a simple question instead of YOU filling the thread with nonsense?
Well, unless there's someone from NZ or with a NZ account around here, we can't really answer any questions, with that said, check out the music video I put like 3 pages ago if you still don't think PvZ is awesome EDIT: Answers in the topic: When will it be out in the US? 8pm pst/11pm est Price? US$2.99 Minigames? Unconfirmed, they are at least part of the campaign, not confirmed if you can play them separatedly Why is this so awesome?
