I was trying out a strategy where I would play level 1-1, leave one zombie at the end and just let him attack a Tallnut/pumpkin combination, while every single other space had a Marigold. I'm not sure if it's a bug or anyone else has this problem, when you plant too many marigolds, they just stop giving coins. The best way I found to get gold was to play the Vase breaking mini game over and over and over. Break all the vases and deal with the zombies afterwards. Easy 550 coins each time. I'm sure there's a better way though.
Not really sure how he spoiled it... Roof? Night? Cabbage? I beat the game already, but if I hadn't, I don't see any spoilers in here. Unless you're talking about his strategy, in which, that's just one way to beat it and you're free to be as creative as you would like. And if you don't like being spoiled, why read this thread? I'm sure you've already seen the ending then.
As I said earlier in the thread, my five year old cleared the game with almost no help. And he cant read. The appeal of the game is not its difficulty; so dont worry, it isnt "spoiled" by reading a few tips.
Just ignore him, he has a habit of making posts that has the sole purpose of being annoying. Oh and are you able to replay any levels to get more gold? I couldn't find the option to do this...
Only after full clear. After a full clear, you can either start a full second play through or go to the quickplay menu which unlocks certain levels which you can redo for gold. You can get about 2,250 by redoing level 1 from quick play and planting the money generating flowers whenever you can. Someone posted a strat for getting about double that, but I think it required 9 slots and the 30,000 plant (which can copy other plants). Just replaying wallnut bowling from the minigame menu also seems good for about 2k. As an added bonus, the wallnut bowling actually seems a little harder too, so its sort of fun.
I did the same thing too, but I got tired after 15 minutes and ended the game, so I'm not sure if they'll stop giving coins.
I use the bowling mini game too to make money. Seems to work pretty good, and it is harder which makes it more fun!
guys, want to share my tactics how to earn gold: Just replay level 1-1 in quick play. You can earn up to 5.5 k of gold each time. GL.
Hold on, i thought there were no mini games in this version of the game! Or when someone says to play Wall nut bowling, they mean playing level 1-5 (or whichever one it is), right? Oh, and im stuck on 4-2...any tips?
plant as many of the free mushrooms as possible any use therm for defense early on in the level, while using sunshrooms for sun, you don't need sunflowers at all. Use things that kill quickly rather than peashooters for zombies that get through the fog.
how do you plant so many of those flowers? I can only get 2 1/2 rows full - and where are your sun flowers? lol
Nope... You need 1 sunflower and two Chamomile. Plant Chamomile as soon as they available. Use potato bombs when you dont have enough money to plant freezer Other u can see on a screenshot look at my row of plants, there is two Chamomile.. so i can plant them twice as fast. After you complete to build walls and freezers, u will not have enough space for Chamomile, so u need to replace sunflowers with them. Anyway sun will fall from the sky... P.S. To use two Chamomile u need to buy plant for 30000 in crazy Dave shop.
