That's a rather extreme example, and that setup apparently took quite a while to perfect. It definitely does get a lot harder, with tons of those huge telephone pole zombies popping in. When I checked when I first played PvZ a year ago the max people had gotten to was around 60 or so.
The game is great and all, but am I the only one who noticed that it has a huge bug: when you're playing and you get a call, when you return to the game you have to start over because it doesn't save. This, as far as I notice happens only when you receive a call, and since the game is made for an iPHONE(!!!) it's kinda a bad, since you're likely to get lot of calls on it since it's a phone...it's been delayed for almost an year and they still couldn't get this right?!? It kinda sucks if you ask me; Also the game runs really good but only on the 3rd gen iPod and 3Gs, the other iDevices lag, a lot! Personally I recommend this only to 3rd gen iPod users and 3Gs. The game doesn't cost much, it's only three bucks, but really you get what you pay for, this is not a AAA game, and the price speaks for that...the pc/mac version is really great but the iPhone/iPod version is kinda half-assed. I would gladly have paid 10$ for this if they made it right; but then again you can't ask too much for something this cheap.
Well i have earned 80k already... but cannot buy 10 slots upgrade. maybe i can buy it when done history mode 3rd time? )
Guys... Reply plz! How to get 10 plant slots? I've earned enough money.. But just cant buy upgrade in shop.
Dunno if this has been mentioned yet, but I found another bug. On the 2nd playthrough, when the game chooses 3 plants for you, on the screen where you choose your other plants, hit the home button. Reenter the game, and you'll have another set of random 3. And yes the phone call, not auto saving thing is annoying.
I can't remember where I first saw the yeti on 2nd playthrough, but he showed up again on 1-1 on the 3rd play
Someone said he was on the fog levels, so I have been concerned about missing him. Does he show up in the pre-level assortment of monsters? Its a real shame that there is no hard mode. EVERY member of my family has cleared this game, including my 5 year old. Yeah he struggled at times, but he got through it pretty much on his own. Love the kid, but he cant read yet, come on. Amusingly, the 5 year old cried the first time my wife failed the final level. He (correctly) thought she was doing it wrong, and just kept saying "your going to die, your going to die" in a miserable voice while crying.
This game is extremely creative, but a bit repetitive. I'm able to beat every single level (almost done the game now) using the exact same strategy... - Two columns of sunflowers at the back - One column of freeze plants - One column of double-shooting plants or the two-sided shooting plants - One column of star plants or triple shooting plants - One column of lights or free mushrooms depending on the level - One column of walnuts or tire spikes depending on the level And I never lost a level yet, and rarely if ever uses the lawnmowers.
lol i beat the game yesterday, without having ever lost. yes, it's I normally hate TD games, but this one actually made me want to finish the game. It is indeed very repetitive, and way too simple. -2 columns of sunflowers -if it's night, spam free shrooms and use one-time-kill plants (cherry bomb, squash) -use potato wall guys -spam pea shooters, all the upgraded guys are honestly not necessary at all. -spam cabbage shooters on the roof, with a row of corn guys that's pretty much all i did, and yeah
Were you able to purchase all the items by the end of the game? Zombies drop 10 or 50 gold at once (which happens very rarely anyways), and the items in the shop cost like 22,000 for the 9-slot and several thousand for other things.
Not even close. The only way you can earn enough money to buy everything before completing adventure mode is to play the computer version and earn the money playing the minigames and puzzle mode. I suppose your best shot in the iPhone version is to buy lots of plants for your Zen Garden, and plant lots of marigolds.
no, was only able to purchase 2 plants and up to 8 slots, and 3 types of additional defense lines. (4k each?) There's no way to get enough with just one playthrough. Go back and plant those flower thingies that give you coins I guess.
