Well, their Game is on the Top Top Top of Paid Games and Top Grossing, with over 2000 Ratings and over 1500 Comments, Full 5 Stars, meaning that their game has been downloaded more than 2000 times, 2000x3$ = 6000$ in the First Week, quite an achievement for an iPhone Game... I wouldn't mind paying 1, 2 or even 3 more bucks for some DLC (New Game Modes, such as Zen Garden, Survival, new packs of enemies, props)

Their game has a great future in the Appstore, I'm sure that a lot of people would pay for an Update and/or DLC.

That's just people who did a review and just people who reviewing in the app store with 2,000 which i bet is the USA app store. Also it will be way over $6,000 to be top grossing.

Yes but as far as I know in order to rate/review a game you have to own it, meaning that all the people who rated had bought the game, and yes it's the USA Appstore, it was an approximation of how much did they win in the First week, I wasn't gonna go thru every single appstore to check.

And yes it's probably way over 6k$ since there's many people who don't rate and still have bought the game.

i would assume that the vast majority of people will just download it and not rate/review it.

The problem is most people only rate apps that they delete. You really need to be able to rate a game from your phone/iPod.

I've seen Cod:Zombies in top grossing with ~10k reviews, so 10,000*$10= 100k+ many people who don't review+ people in other countries+ Dlc= millions?

I'm pretty sure with the success they are having they've made at least $500,000....#1 requires a huge amount of downloads....

but, a small fraction of buyers will review/rate and you also have to account apple taking 30 percent of profit

I'm sure they are making money on this port of PvZ and that the DLC would sell, but we dont know how much it would cost them to code in the DLC stuff we want, or whether they want to take people away from whatever other projects they are working on. So its really hard to evaluate the chances. Just have to wait till they say something.

From what has been said by the developer of the iPhone port they are seriously considering adding zen garden and Minigames:

"XBLA version, coming this year... get excited! Also, I hear ya about the minigames/zen garden. Options are being discussed, I promise!"

"@Kirhen It's definitely being discussed. We're looking into some neat new ways of doing exactly that!"

"@Gwaer @chopkickblock We're thinking about it! We're looking at neat ways to do it, as well as when... nothing official yet but stay tuned!"

These tweets are in response to people asking about them.

I'm really enjoying this game but I'm experiencing quite a bit of lag on my iPhone 3G. Especially when I have a lot of triple pea shooters going at the same time. Any suggestions? I have the free memory app which and I usually free up the memory before playing. Anything else I can do?

    Thanks.

I played it in the car for about 10 minutes and I was down two or three percent, so not that bad.

I'm glad I caved in myself, this is soooo fun
