50. When you finish them all, you can replay them on Quick Play or try adventure on hard mode with all the plants but Crazy Dave chooses 3 of them for you
Just to drop some word from Pop Cap UK office, I asked them about the mini games and if there will be any DLC in the future and here is the answer: Some mini-games are available in Plants vs. Zombies iPhone. Namely, Wallnut Bowling, Whack-a-zombie, vase breaker, final boss, and the special conveyor belt levels that appear in adventure. These are accessible via Quickplay after completing the 50 levels of Adventure mode. In terms of additional mini-games, we have no official word on this but we do update our games and keeps things fresh so never say never! So I guess as it is not really planned, we won't see any DLC for PvZ, anyway I'm still happy with the Quick Play options and the Achievements. Still a great game for a great prize
Anyone know how to beat 5-8? The one with the big guy..? I can't figure out how to beat him. Even if I did get him, there's another zombie right behind him and my defenses are already gone...
the best way is possibly 2 red jalapenos they burn them and prevent the little guy, u can also use those squashes they really are useful.
Totally forgot about the red jalapenos. The bomb mushroom doesn't work very well, maybe the red jalapenos will. Giving it a try now. Thanks. Edit: Just got through it. Thanks Evilblackout2. And bdegrande, I'll see what is coming my way when I get to 5-10 Roof levels are definitely the hardest.
Basically you need 2 of whatever would be sufficient to kill any other zombie - 2 squashes, whatever. Two cherry bombs would work, but they don't regenerate fast enough. The freeze plants can also slow him down. It's best to kill the gigantaur early, and keep in mind that he will hurl the imp in his backpack toward your plants. and, oh yeah, he's not the big guy. That one is on 5-10.
I'm really enjoying this game. Great graphics and amazing play. Feel bad playing it cause i dont want to finish the game that quickly. Hope the developers release more levels via in store purchase. One of the best games in the App store by far.
finished it! the last levels are not that laggy most lags i got is in 3-10 i hope they will add zen garden
Damn...this game really has me hooked. I finished it and still going back for more...The end song is great too! What are some of the better items to buy from crazy Dave? I got the sunflower upgrade. What is the $30k item? Is it worth saving up for? Some of the stuff seems pretty pricey and doesn't really seem that good. What should I buy? Also just curious what the zen garden is all about? Bring on the DLC Popcap...and thanks for the SWEET game!
The Zen Garden is a game mode that lets you grow plants in a greenhouse environment. It's commonly described as the "stress-free" mode, where you can cultivate plants that you have picked up throughout the game. There's also a Mushroom Garden and Aquarium Garden along side the typical Greenhouse, all for the different types of plants you have. You grow your plants and the more happy the plants the more they grow. Essentially you can grow very happy and large plants which drop coins as they become more happy, you can sell them back to Crazy Dave to make money in the game, or just for fun. Like I said, your garden will yield coins via your plants, but since you might not want to tend the garden all too often you can enlist "Stinky the Snail" to tend your garden for you, giving him treats that you can pick up in the single-player game. There's also something called the "Tree of Wisdom" that you can grow in the garden. The tree will give you helpful tips on playing the game as it grows. It's a real diversion from the nature of the single-player game, but it's a really fun addition.
Zen Garden is really cool. My twins love it. One round of PvZ and another in the Zen Garden. Anyway, I’m still very, very impressed with this port and although I have already played the Mac version I’m enjoying the iPhone one as if it was the first time… Don’t miss this game even if you hate this type of game. This is a superb production.
Great game, currently playing through again for the second time. Anyone knows how to get the acheivement for beating a night level using non mushrooms? I can't seem to generate sunshine fast enough.
