Hmm, I'm running into quite a bit of lag on my 1st gen when I have nearly every square planted on. And yes, I have as much RAM free as possible. Oh well.
I think one of the links posted above mentioned only one difficulty setting, but I'm not 100% since I'm not buying the game.
Yes, you need to beat the original Plants vs Zombies for the other game modes to unlock, but they always appear. Compare this to the menu screen of the iPhone game:
Haha, I don't know if this is in the PC/Mac version but scroll all the way down the achievements list. (I forget, are there even achievements on the PC/Mac version?) (And by the way, just tap the very top of the screen to scroll back up.)
Can someone confirm whether or not this version has minigames or survival mode? I'm right about to buy it.
They did update the app store link with more screen shots. You can see the option for the minigames right here (bonus games)... But there's no mention of survival mode, though.
Oh, I actually meant, that when you beat the campaign the first time, when you play through it again, it's the same thing except 3 plants are chosen for you, which in turn makes the game slightly more difficult.
Love this game. It doesn't seem it's verbatim screen per screen to the Mac version but I LOVE it still
There are 10 minigames\bonus games in the quickplay menu along with 4 different zombie combinations in each of the Day, Night, Pool, Fog and Roof modes, so basically another 30 levels.
Were there more minigames usually than the 10 in story mode in the PC/Mac versions? I've never played it before.
Can somebody, who had allready bought this game, tell me which text is under the icon? Are there points in the name? Sorry for this strange question, but I hate apps with points under the icon. ...
