I feel like they went backwards in terms of graphics. :/ From the IGN screenshots, everything looks really glossy, and the screen is also cluttered with all the "abilities" that I assume you would get more of via IAP.

If i have a bottle of genie now, my first wish would be to destroy EA and never make them even existed. They already ruin RR 3 and now this. They just like "midas" where everything they touch turns beautiful to watch but suck to play!

Genies in bottles and vases are the ones who are being punished.

I am so massively saddened by this. PvZ was one of PopCap's last good games.

Yes it was. It was even one of the best on iOS. (But not as good as IB)

It WAS one of my favorites but I HIGHLY doubt the 2nd one will be better.

Well KR F got some hefty in app purchases too, just to get the good heroes... $8 for a bloody dragon?!

$8 is very pricey for a game like that

And that's just for one of the heroes. Five more available For purchase (to be fair, they are cheaper), and more to come.

Luckily Ironhide said that they might reconsider the prices for the release, but I doubt they will...

Well anyway, watch the gameplay from IGN to see the game in action: http://youtu.be/cyNRrdUXw5E

I think iOS gaming may die do to free-to-play games,IAP,and freenium. Even the paid ones that require you to buy more stuff with real money even though its a paid game!!!###

Hopefully PvZ2 pulls through and gets on the free-to-play-games-that-don't-require-any-IAP-in-order-to-beat-the-2nd-level list.

Remember it's EA behind PopCap and in charge of PVZ now...

How far could you get with the $5 that you would have bought it for? That is the big question for this game...
