When I first read that PvZ 2 is coming, I thought it will be an instabuy. But if it isn't designed by George Fan, well, I'm not that excited.
Most likely people are either still in a food coma, blowing out their credit card at the malls, or too busy playing CoD black ops 2 heh
Of the 3-person team who made PvZ, only the artist is still at Popcap. Tod, programmer/designer, was laid off along with George (as well as one other fellow in their San Carlos office who didn't work on PvZ.)
^ Ugh, that doesn't bode well for the PvZ sequel. PopCap's releases have been much less than impressive ever since they were bought out by EA.
Definitely excited for this one. Popcap hasn't made all that great of games recently, but hopefully this PVZ sequel can bring back the Popcap we're used to loving!
Plants vs Zombies 2 is still coming out this summer but this Facebook game is coming out early this spring. Two separate games, the Facebook one is mainly to bring new fans and hype for the upcoming game
Don't expect this to be other than freemium BS with heavy iAPs. Look at Solitaire Blitz (their latest release). The PopCap that we grew up with died when EA bought it out.
well they were updating it pretty regularly and i guess they were waiting for angry birds to die down just a tad before releasing a sequel....just my thoughts
