Lost City part 1 is out. I feel that the last world (frostbite cave) is a bit less IAP-reliant than the infamous beach world. Beach is hands down the most imbalanced update the game's ever seen. Very disappointed at how "pilot zombie" has no special abilities whatsoever. It's basically a reskin of a zombie in a sand tornado, or any imp that pops up from the ground halfway past the field. They could've made pilot zombie be a reskin of the parachute zombie from PvZ1 (steals a plant).
Yeah, I found frostbite cave and lost city to be a lot more fun than the beach. Still haven't finished the last 4-5 levels of that world. Maybe someday. Lost city part 1 was fun, with interesting plants. The missile bouncer one being my fav. I was annoyed to see the cost of the new toadstool in part 2. No way are any of the plants in the game worth more than a buck, much less 5.
Today's Piñata Party claims that the Ghost Pepper is back on sale for a limited time, but I can't find it anywhere. Help?
You should be able to buy it in the store, like any of the IAP plants. Got it the first time around for gems, so can't confirm if that's the case this time. You should also be able to find it in the plant almanac (or whatever it is called) and buy it from there.
I guess you have a bigger bug happening... Mine got stuck at the EA screen several times in the latest update. Closing and opening it again worked, like I said. Something needs fixing anyway...
I think the pricing for the plants are getting out of hand: First plants were 2.49 a pop Then 3.49, now 4.49, 8.99 and 10.99 for the latest plant. I get full games for that price, not just a single plant. Freemium and all ok but seriously....
Yeah, no kidding. I've bought a couple of new ones, but only for $.99 or 1.99. Anything over that seems crazy. I like the new pumpkin one (from the daily trials), but for $6.99, not a chance. Shame, as a reasonable price for them would sell quite a few, I'd bet.
Is there a way to track plants prices? I want to buy some Plants (esp. Grapeshot since it seems ok), but it's way too expensive. Also what plants are worth buying?
Wow. So I hadn't played this game for almost a year. I reinstalled it this week and I was blown away. The IAP are insane! And the levels seem way harder than I remember too. This has obviously become a horrific cash grab. So disappointing that they would do this. Do the have frequent bundle sales? No way I'm paying $15 for one plant and a few gems. I though Game of War was bad. This is downright insane!
